nothing in particular
Great service Clean simple decor Comfortable bed
lamp didn't work properly, other than that all good
Staff were very helpful and friendly, room was very clean and comfortable.
The hotel seemed very clean and cared for. In a great location and good value for money, being in central London. It does the job for a non-nonsense stop-over.
Breakfast room is rather utilitarian and choices could be better for a weekend breakfast. Would like fresh coffee or tea rather than out of a automated machine.
The location was good, 5-10 minutes' walk to King's cross and St Pancras, very convenient if you are traveling out of London to other parts of Europe or UK. The room is very clean and comfy.
The breakfast selection was very limited- only some muffins, canned fruits and yoghurt, hard boiled eggs, that's about all.
the on suite bathroom was so clean ,I didnt realise there was a shower door.
the breakfast room was a bit overcrowded, some people had to wait to eat although the continental breakfast was nice and plenty to eat
Traffic very noisy
Nice comfy bed and spotless room complimentary toiletries tea/coffee facilities wifi
Nice size room, clean and amply equips,we had a suite. Really good location, we put our case in a secure room and then went to enjoy our day, only approx four mins from kings cross station. Staff very helpful with any questions we had about how to get round London.
Shower was warm enough, however very directed narrow jet. Also fire alarm test at 8am on Sunday morning, not ideal!
I was very impressed when I arrived at the hotel, I had read a couple of poor reviews but I thought the hotel was great value for money, yes the corridors are not very wide but who spends time in the corridor? Rooms are very clean, they are cosy but they have everything you need, staff were very helpful and polite, I would stay here again without hesitation.
The only let down was the dining room is a bit small so if a lot of people go for breakfast around the same time it can get a bit cramped.
The rooms were cold. The radiators were cold and the heating source was the reverse air-conditioning wall unit. You had to ask twice for heat before the remote control unit for the wall heater was provided. I am pretty sure it is an effective cost-cutting measure, but at 115£/night, I think a bit of heat would be included without asking. The staff maintained that it was a room by room issue, but I travelled with 2 colleagues and none of us had heat - of course, we were all on the same floor, so that might have played a role.
Location. Reception staff very friendly.
Hotel split over several "houses". No lift in the one we were in. Room up three flights of stairs with heavy suitcase. Breakfast continental only. Expensive for the facilities. Double bed only just fitted in room.
Very convenient location to St. Pancras International train station. The room was clean and modern.
The heating was too hot. Safety box in the room didn't work properly
Heating in room not working. Very noisy room due to being next to reception.
1. Close to Kings Cross Station. 2. Helpful reception staff. 3 Very clean room. 4. 24/7 reception
1. Very small room.
Good location, nice room Good WiFi included for 4 hours.
Its not a big or glamorous hotel but is very clean, organised and has all you need. A staff member went out her way to help me find my travelling destination, even getting out a map, printing info off Internet.Location is the best possible for transport networks. Would definitely stay there again.
Great location, steps away from Kings Cross-St. Pancras. Friendly and helpful staff. Continental breakfast was a plus!
Don't stay if you're a light sleeper. I did alright, and to be fair, there was construction across the street during my stay, but room was pretty susceptible to the noise on the street.
Location is good due to it is closed station.
Proximity to St Pancras, Quiet for central London, Breakfast included.
Would not wish to spend a holiday there but fine for overnight.
Helpful, friendly reception staff. Good location, 5 minutes from Kings Cross.
Rather a musty, damp odour pervading on Floor 2 corridor and bedroom. A claustrophobic feel to the Hotel with very steep stairs and small corridors.
I liked the location close to St Pancras Station and I liked the breakfast.
I didn't like the position of my room in the basement.
