Dragging my bag up three flights of stairs.
rooms were clean staff were friendly and helpful
very noisy outside - but that's the price you pay for being close to Kings Cross. Windows couldn't be opened.
traffic location is perfect to all the tub lines and int'l train services. Comfort bed clean rooms.
climbing the stairs with heavy luggage.
Breakfast was very good
Flat pillows and noisy air conditioning
Location was excellent and the room was quiet.
The halls were tight and the fourth bed was a couch and very uncomfortable.
the facility. breakfast. the location.
basement room stank and was quite damp
Location is great, just opposite St. Pancras and around a corner, everything very clean, Single room was small, but everything refurnished and also refurbished, brand new bathroom high Quality!! quiet room, as whished - I could even sleep with an open window very friendly and helpful stuff Price value for London is very good
TV didn't work-no channels available, bed was too soft, could feel each bed spring
Location and value for money
Lack of lift in new block of rooms
It is easy and convenient for both Kings Cross and St Pancras.
In 2014, WiFi should be free.
Service received from receptionist was fantastic, friendly & welcoming. Rooms were clean & comfortable-suggest ask for room on top floor of main building with lift access
Location is on a back street in Kings Cross - had concerns about the safety. Hotel appears to be made up of houses combined into a hotel resulting in numerous stairs, corridors & doors to navigate to get to some rooms without lift access - proved very difficult to do with heavy suitcases.
Bed Room was adequate
Breakfast in the basement...This was dreadful. Breakfast area was far to small for number of people trying to use it. We were glad to escape the place. Quality of food poor. On arrival we were told we were on 1st floor. This turned out to be up 2 flights of very narrow stairs. We had to drag 2 very heavy suitcases up these stairs. No lift available..
Short distance to train / metro mainly quiet, but noise early in the morning from people gathering outside the breakfast room and discussing loudly.
Noise carried easily through doors from corridor and into room.
This hotel with friendly staff is in a great spot close to Kings Cross/St Pancras station. Very efficient and helpful staff. Rooms very clean, beds comfy and a nice simple breakfast was offered. Would stay again.
The rooms were clean and the staff were helpful. Good location for getting around London. Breakfast although only continental was adequate and filling.
The breakfast room was quite small and we had to wait to get a seat. With the room window open it was quite noisy and nearly as noisy with the air con on. Manageable for one night.
Breakfast room was basic.
Staff was helpful and friendly.
Earlier we were allocated a room (either 506 or 507, can't remember) which we had to climb a flight of narrow steps with our suitcases to get into. This room was otherwise OK. Later, we were allocated Room 306 which was accessible by lift, but this room was very cramped, with hardly any space to even open a suitcase.
Loved the comfy bed, shower was lovely & staff were very helpful!
Breakfast was a bit sparse- would have like a cooked breakfast option instead of just toast & egg.
The location was great
Cost and being down basement level
extremely friendly and helpful staff room was small as you would expect in London but comfortable and newly renovated very good value for money
walk up 3 flights stairs with luggage although they did offer help
It's an ok hotel when compared to the others in the area. Those other hotels can be real bare minimum. This has a nice bathroom! A/c in room.
It's not so good when compared to other hotels & b&bs in the world. Bottom basement floor has a distinct mold smell.
We were located in new section, rooms 506 and 507 - there were great, with enough space, very nice bathrooms, great wi-fi. Highly recommended but we have no knowledge about the quality of the older part. Overall very pleasant stay! PS. Good selection on continental breakfast
Location very convenient for King's Cross/St Pancras. Rooms are clean and modern, shower room the same. Reception staff very pleasant. Wifi and A/C good. Comfortable chair and tea making facility.
Breakfast (continental style) definitely just OK. Decent orange juice would be good.
Performing well against its price because of very close to the major train station ( access is much better than expected )
This was good value for money in a great location in London. The room I was in seemed to have been recently refurbished. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was small but adequate for the purpose. A slight problem occurred but the staff have responded promptly to feedback.
The male receptionist at check in and the technician who came at the end just before we left to fix the air con are both with good attitude.
The air con is out of order in the middle of the night, ask the reception (another male receptionist) to have a check, he couldn't fix it and just saying there is some cool wind out of the machine, and refuse to provide solution. We and my two young children cannot sleep properly at night (the day we stayed is pretty hot, ~30C). Ask the female receptionist in the morning also said she can do nothing becasue it's Sunday.
