Small room. Small hard bed (120cm) room was very warm and stuffy. We turned heating if and opened window, but noise from nearby roads and construction site opposite meant no chance of sleeping after 7.30am. Small breakfast room, very basic breakfast. I don't think this was value for money. Better hotels in same area at similar price
Clean rooms, friendly staff.
Bed was not good enough linin was old and towls ruff and old
The surrounding area did not seem to be very salubrious, but it suited our purpose on this occasion.
It was ideal for an early morning Eurostar trip
Clean, well maintained room. Surprisingly quiet considering central to train links. Staff very pleasant and helpful.
Clean bedroom and common areas, looked recently refurbished. Comfortable bed and spotless shower room.Lift worked well. Flowers at front of hotel were a nice touch. Liked the fact that the price included a buffetbreakfast. Friendly staff. Enjoyed our stay.
Some noise about 6am outside our window possibly from departing/arriving guests
Clean, comfortable rooms
Nothing at all.
Quiet. Comfortable. Compact. Good shower.
Very warm room and noise of tube, As in basement room but didn't stop you from sleeping.
Friendly staff, breakfast and luggage storage
Room was way too hot And I was told heat was automatically contolled. Luckily I was able to open a window.
Location-good neighborhood, transportation. British Museum
Expected better from our reservation. Got a dark, damp and smelly basement room, one step up from a cleaner's cupboard.
Comfy bed. Proximity to King's Cross.
Local area still a bit mixed in terms of safety and facilities - i.e a bit rough around the edges.
Good for St Pancras International and an early start.
Didn't feel comfortable.
Proximity to St Pancras.
Could have done with a lounge/bar especially when travelling with children
Rooms were very nice
cramped rooms and facilities worst thing was all kinds of narrow steep stairs up and down making accessibility a real problem - a common problrm in older UK hotels slightly dodgy neighborhood
Location great. Staff excellent
Odd breakfast in rather cramped basement. But at least breakfast was included in the price.
Very clean comfy but small room. Lovely bathroom.
The noise! No double glazing so extremely noisy all night. Dining room too small so no room for me to have breakfast and I was on a tight time scale do couldn't wait
Very clean and comfortable room, easy access to train station
Very noisy outside but to be expected as busy location. Breakfast disappointing
Suite was great for a short family stay
The hot water shower didn't work properly and when informed the reception staff (the lady with glasses, I can't remember her name). None had been fixed, in fact, the answer was 'it should have worked but you are unable to do it! Why don't you try fiddling with the handle and call me again if there are still problems'. It sounded rather insulting with her voice and gesture (come on, the shower system was quite simple and it didn't require people with a degree in mechanical engineering to do it! ) All in all, I wasn't happy with the service.
Room is brilliant. It is very clean and warm. Room facilities are almost perfect. Beds are awesome. Location is quite close to London St Pancras.
The stairs were a bit of a problem but that is to be expected on the type of building it is,
The cleanliness and the excellent breakfast
The shower wasn't working properly, losing a lot of water and then water burning or being ice cold. Paid wifi. The breakfast room is way too small.
Close proximity to the tube and the train station. Clean and warm and with everything you could need in your room. Friendly staff who answered all my questions and doubts with a smile on their faces.
Noisy oyou can hear people walking on your ceiling in bottom rooms so moved to 3rd floor where you hear street but is better Staff is not very friendly Breakfact is nothing
Ideally situated near St Pancras Free Wifi
In this day and age I do not expect to have to pay for wi-fi
Convenient for the Station that we needed early in the morning
