Our room was comfortable and clean, and the bed with it's white bedding made it more inviting. The breakfast was equally enjoyable, with a good variety. I would say it's value for money. I have three criticisms. We had two chipped cups on the hospitality tray, and I didn't like to see the toilet brush in holder, being situated on a ledge just below the towel rain. It's not hygienic. And finally, the net curtains needed to be washed. |

Although having advised the hotel that we would be late checking in, when we arrived there was 'only one room left' and this was not the twin bedded room we had booked. We were offered a double room with extra bed which we had to take as it was after 10 p.m. One of us then had to sleep on what was a glorified camp bed. |

Close poximity to my business appointment I've stayed here before because it is in close proximity of regular business appointments. However, though the staff try their best to keep rooms clean, the interior of this hotel is really 'tired' and in desperate need of refurbishment. The lace curtains in the 1st room that I was given were very dirty and very noticablly creased, and the window couldnt close completely with cold wind coming in through a large gap. I then changed rooms and there the heating didnt work and of course..the window couldnt seal either. |

Easy check in, very acceptable breakfast. 2pm late to check in and 11am early to check out........however this may be the norm for this type of accommodation.......don't often stay on a one night basis. |

The attentiveness of the receptionist who rang my company on my behalf and arranged payment. Also, the informality of the breakfast setting Smell of smoke in the bathroom, no iron in the room |
