Friendly helpful staff would stay again.
5ish minute walk from St. Pancras/King's Cross Station even if traffic is heavy, so easy access to anywhere in London, as a main tube station is also there. Hotel was the cleanest one we stayed in while in London. Would stay again. On a par with Canadian Hotels for comfort, service and cleanliness (we are a retired couple from Canada)
The extractor fan in the bathroom did not work and there was no TV remote.
Location & price & room size
No drink & snack in the room
Expensive - poor value for money.
the spacious room and facilities. the choice of food at breakfast. location and nearness to kings cross
Hotel was under construction and hallway to my room was freshly painted. Fumes inside room were unbearable and caused headache... Management was not really concerned about complaints (since they were fully booked).. Not a Comfort Inn that matches US standards...
Amazing for the price Great location close by to trains Walked around Islington as was close by Walked to train on departure Thoroughly enjoyed my stay
Nothing to complain about during my stay
Beds were good
Fire exit in basement is inadequate, especially if fire is in Kitchen, how did this pass fire regulations!!
Good Continental Breakfast. Friendly helpful Staff.
Twin Bed Room too SMALL just tiny no room to move at all.
Room was a really good size.
Friendly and helpful staff. Luggage room - no problem to drop bags before check in and kept safe ready for pick up on way home. The hotel is on a quiet street, located only 300yds from St Pancras/Kings Cross stations. Good breakfast.
Toilet facilities were great except for where the cleaning could do with a little more attention. (This was the only small thing that detracted from what was otherwise an excellent value for money and well located budget hotel).
We thought it was very expensive for a poor cleaningness.
Location excellent. Minutes from St Pancras and Kings Cross. Buffet breakfast good.
Both rooms very small. Tap on kitchen sink very loose. Had to wait for correct room booking to be located. Offered two wrong rooms first - had booked a suite with a double room/twin bedroom, as travelling with an elderly relative. Was offered one room with four singles, then one room with a double and two singles. Would not class this a 4* at all. At £206, still very expensive.
Convenience and facilities.
Clean, well-appointed room, and quiet location, near to St Pancras Station and bus routes into central london. Hot water, good shower and nice continental breakfast in clean fresh dining room.
The room was cramped. The microwave was in an awkward place. If we'd used it to cater for ourselves, would have found the room much too small.
The personnel was very friendly and helpful with tips concerning shops and restaurants within the vicinity. Checking in was speedy and the room was ready.
The bed was too short (for anyone over 1m83/6ft tall), the windows facing the street are not soundproofed, so when the garbage collectors pass through in the morning, you're well aware.
Near to St Pancras
Staff that didn't care, room phone kept doing a couple of rings every few minutes, complained was told it was sorted out but in the end had to pull the plug from the wall. Filthy carpet, dirty bath. I wouldn't give this hotel 1 star! We always use booking.com as hotels always as described, very disappointed with this one.
1) The location near Kings Cross is pretty good. 2) Everything worked, shower, TV, kettle. 3) The staff were pretty nice and really tried. 4) A decent continental breakfast.
1) The Price, I paid over £360 for two nights in a shoebox. *** My fault, I booked in haste and didn't really read between the lines. These type of hotels (there are many) are converted terrace houses near to Kings Cross and they are small, narrow houses where everything is shoe-horned in.
excellent position very close to Kings Cross, room very clean, large and clean bathroom, reception available 24/24x7.
poor choice in breakfast menu, not free wi-fi, really small room.
Great staff at the reception.Very helpful and professional. Brand new suite room. Fantastic position near Pancra s station.
The proximity of Eurostar, and the space in the room
Location, value, room size.
Mouldy bathroom tiles, hair on bedside table, toilet randomly flushing.
The accommodation was worse than poor. Very cramped and not clean. Only one towel in the room.Light over bathroom mirror didn't work. Handle to the room fell off. No instructions on how to operate the heating/cooling system. Room that we were offered for the third day was better. Kitchen tap/ faucet was very loose. This Comfort Inn will not help the good standards that the Chain wishes to aspire too. I expect a refund for the two days that put a bad closure to our otherwise very enjoyable holiday in England. I fully intended to e-mail or call Comfort Inns in America but having received your standard questionaire I have followed that method.
