Very welcoming staff. Good position - clean - decor and furnishing may have been a little dated - but would not hesitate in using this hotel again. |

Everything - the staff were appalling, the facilities were terrible, the customer service was non-existence, I have grave concerns about the security. |

Its location to new street and excellent chinese nearby; The room was quite pokey; breakfast staff were slow; the cooked breakfast was poor; if you want an intermittent alarm call throughout the night then the noise of the outside generator will suit you - it do not me!! |

The Comfort inn was very close to the main centre/ train station and had a very nice indian called Taj Mahal around the corner which had good quality food and brillant value for money. Rooms were clean and bed was very comfortable. I would say if you want value for money and a standard room for a few nights then this hotel is for you. The main dislike that was very clear to me and my partner was the heat in the hotel is was very uncomfortable, when you had the window open it was very load due to being near a main road so you could not really have it open. |

The hotel is very close to Birmingham New Street station. It was also relatively cheap. The bed was pretty rubbish. |

Clean and central No record of my booking when I arrived. But not a problem as they put me up in a double room. Could have been a problem if hotel was full. |

It was in an ideal location for my requirements ie. central. The breakfast was good also. It was sufficiently comfortable for the money. It was a little tired and shabby in places - the bathroom was in nedd of redecoration and the decor/furnishings were quite old. The mattress was uncomfortable - but most hotel matresses are! |

Could not be closer to Birmingham New Street train station - very very convenient (and therefore safe for lone female travellers, no wandering about trying to find the hotel). |

The room was small but perfectly funtionable. I was only there for 1 night while I visted family. Wouldn't choice if I was there for much more than that. The hotel had no idea about my booking and took at least 30 min to work out who I was. |

Excellent reception and breakfast staff A little "scruffy" at the edges, e.g. no liquid soap in sink dispenser, OK at shower; breakfast cereal milk just "on the turn" - very pleasantly replenished. |

Reasonably priced for my short visit. Adequat for our needs. Would recommend to friends Radiators could have been warmer. May cause problems in the winter time. |

room was clean, spacious and warm. lft was only operational if somebody actually shut the door. As I was on the third floor had to carry bag down to reception as door was left open on that level. staff did not seem to be bothered about this. Resurfacing of road next to hotel from 10 p.m to 2 a.m. was not made aware of this and once again staff were not bothered about this. not a good idea when you have bus meeting next day |
