The rooms where really neat and the shower too worked very well and had loads of clean towels. The breakfast had limited options. The rooms where quite small. But overall the facilities were clean and worked well.
The size of the room was too small and the breakfast options provided was limited.
Clean and comfortable
Small bed, small room, can't move much Air con not working properly (either too cold or too hot and just above the bed) Poor Wifi connection TV not working (poor network)
Location near to underground and a good selection of restaurants and bars.
The continental breakfast is a sad affair, very difficult to find the basic breakfast items, even the hot water is not for tea is in anyway obvious.
The whole experience was excellent. The staff were friendly, location was great, breakfast great and room exactly what I needed. Overall very happy and would recommend to anyone.
Heating didn't work- cold room, had to return to check in to get a remote control but still didn't work. Then had to ask for an electric heater. Door handle fell off Bedside light didn't work Need I say more?
The bed was reasonably comfortable, the room and the bathroom were reasonably well decorated. The location and proximity to the Tube was convenient.
The reception staff looked bored and ignored you unless you asked a direct question. The rooms are very very small. The breakfast on Sunday is supposed to be served until 10.30, but by 10.15 was completely cleared away. The woman in the dining room spoke no English. The customer service is non-exisitant. For the price paid, there are better hotals in this area.
Squeaky floor boards. Bed right by the door meant you could hear every person walking past.
The wifi keeps going off and require login. The air con was set on 17 degree in December and the staff just told us to adjust the temp although we reported that it was faulty so we had to turn it off. Imagine no heating in December in London. The electronic card key didn't work and we were sent back up the steps twice to try before we were given a manual key the third time. The room is extremely small. No assistance with luggage up and down the steps. This is truly a budget hotel
1. The location 2. Price 3. Shower/bathroom facilities 4. WI-FI 5. Friendliness of reception staff
1. Kettle - old and rusty 2. Dietry requirements were not met despite letting them know ahead of time. 3. No heating in bedroom only air con 4. Smell of drainage in bedroom and bathroom
Really convenient location, just round the corner from Earl's Court station so great for getting in and around the city centre as well as to/from Heathrow
Small room but when thats the only negative you know the hotel is ok
Close to transport. 5 mins walk from family. Quiet road. Welcoming reception area.
Next time, will request a front room as view of rear of properties and mechanical equipment not ideal, but as we were only staying overnight, did not bother to request a change.
Lack of English speaking staff
The location. Staff polite.
Wifi is very poor - do not rely on it during your stay. Very noisy hotel due to other guests. No phone signal in my room so I was unable to make outgoing phonecalls and also unable to receive incoming calls. Bed fairly uncomfortable. Other guests smoking even though this is a no smoking hotel. Tv not up to date with most recent channels and very poor signal.
The location is amazing if you want to stay in Earls Court or nearby the underground. The room was small, but clean.
No refrigerator in the room and incredible bad breakfast (do not pay for this if you stay here - I would rather go to the Marks and Spencer store at the corner). I asked the staff if they could provide some gluten free options for breakfast. First I sent them a mail 5 days before our arrival and I didn't get any answer. After the first breakfast, we asked if they could provide it and they said yes. Later that day, when we asked again, they told us that this is something I need to bring myself. Really unprofessional. They also started to close the "breakfast" ten minuets before, and it is negative that the breakfast is only open between 7am-9.30am from Monday-Saturdag(!! Even in the weekend!!) and 7am-10am on Sundays.
Big clean room. Breakfast was good. Good location.
The heating did not work. Beds shown on website was double on twin room, but was only single when we checked in.
I stayed 1 night on a recent business trip. The hotel is centrally located, 2 mins walk from the Earl's court tube station. The rooms have been recently renovated, the bathrooms especially are very elegant. The bed was comfortable, and the rooms though small offered value for money.
Lack of radiators in the room, heating is via air-conditioning. Though it was sufficient to heat up the room, installed central heating would be more elegant.
- Comfortable beds - Helpful staff - tidy bathroom
- breakfast was modest - problems with air conditioning
Good location, close to tube station. Staff is nice and helpful. Room is clean
Breakfast is really bad...
Could walk to train and refurbished rooms.
No light over vanity or dressing mirror. It took the staff 3 goes to get a room for us. The first room we unlocked was occupied the second had not been finished being made up had arrived back late to our room from the theatre to find no top sheet or blanket. The third go was fine but next to breakfast room which was noisy. Breakfast just ok
Clean and comfortable room in a great location. The staff were very helpful.
Good location, very close to Earl's Court subway station Clean
Bedroom was very small
Having complimentary cava, mince pies, cholocolate, crisps and crackers in the room for New Year's Eve was a very nice touch.
The only minus was the breakfast. Extremely poor and unhealthy.
The staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The room is clean but a bit small.I would go back again if the offer is on again.
