Comfy bed Room was dated but all serviceable and everything worked Breakfast was tasty and great service
Shower pressure poor
No heating Had to wait to long for hot water. No TV control so if you wanted to turn over you had to keep getting out of bed. Hotel smelt.(not fresh may I add). Teenagers sitting in dinning room and hanging around a rear fire exit???
Waking up and leaving.
None of it, would not stay again.
Bathroom poor. Soap/body wash dispenser empty. Shower broken. Lights in vanity unit did not work. Bedside light did not work. No hair dryer. Shower screen black at bottom. Would not return.
Helpful staff rectified any problems reasonably quickly
Breakfast was quite expensive and portion was quite small, although what was provided was quite tasty.
A good curry. Secure parking for bike. Only a couple of miles from mallory. Loads of shops etc in the same street.
Location, Free WiFi, Free Parking & price. This hotel is what it is cheap and cheerful.
Requires continued refurb, Hot water takes a while to come through.
Welcoming staff, very clean and well priced but basic and many in need of decorating.
No hot water
Cheap bed to sleep in after a night out
Floor and shelves were filthy. Old toe nail on the floor next to a hair clip leaning against skirting. Cobwebs by ceiling.
Staff we're helpful and friendly
The manager volunteered the availability of a locked garage for our motorcycle and was very helpful regarding this.
Bed was uncomfortable. No mattress protector. We paid on arrival but the hotel took more money out of our account the next day, as they said they'd not charged us enough! We didn't feel we should be penalised for their mistake.
The hotel wasn't clean. The first room they put me in was untidy with the bedding not fitting the bed and had a bad smell. When I went back to reception and tried to change my booking from four nights down to one, the receptionist said at first that it was only £35 so what do I expect then went on to say I would not be refunded and I was to get in ouch with booking.com as the booking was with them. I did express my grievance and went to collect my bags. The receptionist then followed my to my room and said he would upgrade me. Then he led my to what they called the comfort suite. I would use this term very loosely as again it wasn't whar I would call clean, the tv had only half of the channels working, the tap in the bathroom only got hot water after five minutes of spitting erratically, the toilet didn't flush properly and the room wasn't cleaned daily with no change of towels all week. I spent the week sleeping with a coat wrapped around my pillow sleeping on top of the sheets. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
The hygiene, the attitude of the staff, the cold showers.
The location because close to everything(
Beds squeeking shower was very poor just cold all the time.
It was cheap.
There was only 1 member of staff who was not particularly friendly. The carpets were threadbare, the corridors stunk of cigarettes, food and sweat. The rooms were reasonably clean but there was rubbish in the drawers and not all the lights worked. The shower took 15 mins of running to get any hot water and there was mould in the tiles and around the sealant. We had to leave early both mornings and the only way out was through the fire exit in the garage underneath the hotel. I would not recommend anyone to go there again it is probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.
All round good hotel
The location was the reason we chose this hotel as it is in walking distance to a function we were attending.
Not good reception by the staff. The general appearance was untidy and uncared for. The bath mixer tap wouldn't work and was stuck on shower and the bath plug was too small. When this was pointed out a male member of staff he unjammed the mixer tap so that the bath water ran but didn't replace the plug so the water just ran away, when I tried to turn it back to shower the mixer tap was again stuck-we couldn't bath or shower. The one bedside light didn't work-the bathroom vanity lights over the mirror didn't work. The main door to the hotel was locked most of the time and we had to get in and out by an insecure fire exit leading to the car park. The staff (I only saw 3) didn't seem to want to be there. When we left I tried to find a member of staff to make my feeling known and to request a rebate of the £70 I paid but there was no staff in attendance on the premises-just a note to say LEAVE THE KEY ON THE DESK. This was without doubt the worst hotel I have ever had the misfortune to stay in.Very very bad.
Nothing other than the location
Poor accommodation , just worn out . No hot water ! Breakfast appalling !
Price. Easy to find. Plenty of parking. Location in town but quiet. Free WiFi. Room everything I needed- not luxury but perfectly ok. Bathrooom although tiny was complete- toilet, washbasin, shower and bath (I do miss at more expensive hotels). Quick service and paper to read at breakfast
Breakfast not quite such good value- would have appreciated cereal as well. However fruit juice, coffee toast and a decent cooked so no real complaint. The weather!
Excellent staff, great rooms for the price. everyone really like this hotel
No hot water stunk
The breakfast was very good & the staff were very friendly
No hot water on two occasions
