The price, comfortable bed and clean bathroom.
TV didn't work, there was no way of removing plug from basin once in, no shampoo in bathroom.
Not the poshest place we've stopped at, but the staff are so helpful and the manager is quite willing to negotiate a good price for further visits. Prices are good and the location is handy for travel in any direction,
Really friendly staff, always ready to help. Good travel links all major motorways easy reach.
Anif and Sunny are great hosts who made us feel welcome even though we arrived late. Anif have us great tips for bike rides so we could enjoy the area and explore. Breakfast was huge and locally sourced sausages a real treat. We hope to visit check in
Bed was horrible. You will suely get back pain. Wifi disconnects every minute. Carpet was filthy. Make sure to carry slippers if you want to step on carpet.
Couldn't adjust the shower temperature. Toohot to get in. Didn't get an invoice. said it would be emailed . Still waiting!
Good as a short stop over and with fair room facilities. I had a so called suite that was in reality a double room with a separate bathroom. Internet worked well
Only had a glimpse of a standard room but would not have liked to stay in one.
The beds were comfortable.
No hot water one of the two mornings Poor, over priced breakfast Noisy throughout the night
Warm bedroom. Good location with Indian restuarant opposite. Cheap price. Day manager helpful and honest.
Price of breakfasts (didn't bother booking one and didn't see anyone else having one either). Attitude of night staff was appalling. The bar had very little in stock - no gin, no named brandy, Cointreau was fake, no lemon slices - need I go on? The barman didn't drink alcohol so knew nothing about serving it. The hot water pressure was so strong and water scalding hot, but the cold water was barely dribbling through so a shower was dangerous and uncontollably hot. Gave up and ran a bath, which took forever. No shampoo provided. Old stuffed and broken wingback chair stored in bathroom?? Floorboards dangerously loose and had a hole in them next to bed.
Location for Mallory Park Circuit - excellent. Owner/Manager was most hospitable - hilarious evening in the bar...
Hotel is dated, tired & a bit grubby. Nets could definitely do with bleaching..!! But, toilet and shower were clean and the bed linen was crisp and fresh..!! Room pricing needs to be uniformed, different prices for twin rooms ranging from £30-£70.
The bed was really comfortable and the breakfast was hot and tasty.
The room was a bit tired and scruffy.....really needs a bit od TLC
the staff and inn was excellent and good value for what it cost. would recommend to all my friends and family,Also will be staying again in the future
1st room I was in, the carpet was disgusting, tv made such a loud buzzing noise and no heating, never anyone on reception. 2nd room slightly better but no remote.i will never go back there
No Problem really
T V not working Fridge Compressor running nearby But only short stay and grateful
Walls very thin, rooms very small, shower did not work correctly. Main Doors locked at night until 7am!!
great staff,good place to stay,recommended
The shower water was cold, the radiators didn't work. The door had cracks which let the light in and the noise. The outside vent was so noisy that I wasn't able to slp all night.
Staff were nice
Hotel rooms are a bit run down and noisy public car park at the rear of hotel makes sleeping difficult !
In our opinion this hotel should be shut down. Not only was it run down but dirty. In our room the paintwork and carpets were dirty. Half the lights had no bulbs. Worst of all was the shower, the sealant was 1 inch thick with dirt. All night long doors were banging - so no sleep. We left early as we couldn't face eating there. If you value your health don't go there.
Bed was reasonably comfortable
Walls are paper thin. Could hear next doors toilet running aswell as every word they said. No hot water at 6.30 in the morning so couldnt have a shower. Waited 20 mins at reception for a member of staff to show up to check in.
There is nothing positive to be said
The room was filthy, the door handle fell off, no lock on the bathroom door, electrical and phone sockets hanging off, 6" screw sticking up out of the floor, TV had no sound, the shower was little more than a trickle of freezing cold water, the location was horrendous and I first met the reception staff hanging out in the car park exchanging abusive pleasantries with a bunch of teenage girls. This was the most disgusting place I have ever seen and had I not arrived late with a baby I would not have stayed!!!!
Poor location walk from public car park to reception long receptionist lied about music and when doors would be locked room was okay at first glance then found bed was old and knackered mattress was so old you could see the springs throught the sheet black mould all over the shower and tea stain down the dresser when we left no staff around had to leave via a fire exit will never go back also seems to be used by the local ladies of the night!
Comfy bed Room was dated but all serviceable and everything worked Breakfast was tasty and great service
Shower pressure poor
Staff were good
