Good location Good wifi
Easy to find and near to station. My room hadn't been cleaned when I arrived, but I went straight out and it was spotless on return. Free Wi-Fi worked well. Ensuite was really large.
Bar had stopped serving food because there weren't enough customers. Creaky doors, floors so difficult not to disturb people late at night or early morning.
Check-in quick, smooth and very professional, definetely something you normally do not find in these kind of hotels. Wifi was very very good, I mean I never found a WIFI as fast as this one anywhere else ( 50mbps ) and IT WAS FREE!!!!!!! Price was extremely competitive and when I booked it I thought I wouldn't expect much from this place but it is definetely worth every single penny and I will definetely come back soon.
Nothing you guys are just amazing and so friendly!
great location, helpful and friendly staff
There were problems with the bathroom - first it did not flush well (yuck!) and I had to play with the toilet for it to adequately fill and flush; we also had a visit from the concierge that the people below us were getting flooded after we showered.
No main light in bedroom - only side lights so room is a little dull.
Service at the bar
For the price of the hotel this is exactly what I was looking for. The man on reception at check in was amazing and very nice. Hotel of a good quality standard and excellent location. Helpful luggage storage.
When arriving in hull we went to the hotel to see if we could leave our bags, I told the reception staff that I understood we could not check in but could we leave them. He said there was nothing he could do but after reading the guest info book discovered there was a luggage storage area. Decor a bit out dated but that doesn't really matter when all you need to do is sleep!
Location, under a minute walk from the rail and bus interchange. Had a family room all to myself Plenty of tea and coffee in room
Shower was cold Walls are on the thin side, could hear the telly from the next room
The staff at this hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and very spacious and well-furnished for the cost. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel for someone looking for a no-frills, good value place to stay in Hull.
Decor was a bit dated in places but very reasonable considering the price.
Good staff and location room good for what we payed didn't expect more or less cheap bar prices also a big plus
the hairdryer was not near a mirror apart from that everything was ok.
Room could do with a refresh of paint
Close to all amenities
staff arguing with customers during the middle of the night. Could not sleep at all. Expected more professionalism
Position and price. First impresion was good.
Paid for breakfast for 2 mornings, no breakfast both mornings. No food in the evening, no chef. Room was not cleaned had to get reception to get a cleaner in.
Value for money.
You'll be lucky to get a space in the car park.
Had a lovely time been several times its clean cheap central very good value for money what more could u want .
Small car parking space but we did go to station car park just around corner cheap too .
Friendly, bar good price.
Bathroom need new tiles and painting. Need new bed mattress and windows too dirty.
Walking distance to the center of Hull.
should fit a shelf in way of the wash basin.
Free wifi throughout
Noise of traffic. Location - dodgy street life outside hotel, but then it was Hull city centre.
The staff where great, very helpful front receptionists, daily housekeeping
The chef had done a runner
Friendly staff good beds clean rooms
Could not connect to wifi on 3 different phones
we liked the location of the hotel as it was close to the deep and other museums. Also close to the football stadium.hotel staff were very attentive and helpful.
the hotel is above a club so was very noisy at night.wasnt the cleanest of hotels we have stayed in.breakfast was reasonable.near hull royal infirmary so ambulance sirens were going all night.
Excellent location. Good for if you want basic facilities and a bed when you're from out of town
Bathroom was horrendous! Needed renovation. Rusty, drippy, cobwebby and dusty
Room was warm Staff were friendly
Out dated apart from reception and bar. Large coffe stain on bedding we dint notice till we woke up as it was on the underside of cover. Shower rail had rust dropping off. Toilet end flusher missing. paint pealing off roof in bathroom Mixed nobs on all cupboards 2 big burns in carpet. To top it all got charged twice for the room so couldnt not go out and enjoy New Years eve
Excellent location, free wifi, family room was big, downstairs 24 hour bar, 24 hour reception.
Beds were grubby, not much parking, hotel could use major refurb very old inside
