Asked for a disposable cup for coffee but was told they do not have it.
Location very good.
Breakfast Buffet style, the fried eggs were hours old and rock hard. In fainess it was 10.00am and breakfast was served from at least 8.00am. The bed had a plastic undersheet, very hygenic but did make sleeping a bit sweaty!! Car parking only for about 10 cars, we had to use a public one round the corner by teh station which was £4.00 for 14 hours. (Weekend rate)
no car space
Excellent hotel for the money! Free limited parking, wifi, comfy beds, cheap bar, friendly staff, what more could you want at £31 for a double room???
Large lounge with friendly staff.
When arrived rude concerning parking. Had to pay on check in which isn't normal. Room was large but wasn't very clean. Bathroom wasn't clean, shower curtain was discussing, taps were filthy. Had a luxury double room, was 2 singles together, very uncomfortable. Sheet was to small, kept coming of. Radiator made horrible noise all night. On checkout member of staff was rude whilst voicing my complaint.
clean room with good bed
a poor breakfast with no choice. A very small assortment
room was gd size
tv didnt work had 3 cable join together bed was hard and not comfey
Not used, but 24hrs bar, friendly staff and comfortable room.
Free parking is very limited (only half a dozen or so spaces then need to park in railways station car park about 200metres away and chargeable.
most rooms are comfortable, have flat screen tv's & have been refurbished.
some rooms still to be refurbished and are dated with tatty curtains, peeling wallpaper & old bathrooms
The towels and sheets were clean
The bathroom was appalling. Mould in the grouting, exposed rawlplugs where appliances had been removed. Loose handle on bath and shower did not function correctly. Very dirty around and below sink. Everything was worn and a poor standard
Got woken by fire alarm at 6 30am on fri.!!!!!! Would never have breakfazt as so disjointed. Half stuff missing at breakfast so cancelled that altogether. Need more staff in kitchen. !!
The location was just right
Paid £5.95 for breakfast when I booked it on line. Turns out I would have only paid £4.95 if left to when I checked in!! Most hotels charge LESS if you book in advance not more. Really annoyed about that.
very very very bad smell in the toilet of room 321, it was very hard to sleep that night. I was nearly crazy and I will never live in this hotel again.
The room was great, the bed was so comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of storage space, there was plenty of drawers and the wardrobe was a decent size. There was both a bath and shower and both the main room and the bedroom was very spacious. There were a few concerns that we mentioned to a member of staff and he was very apologetic and understanding, he gave us a free room upgrade and an extended check out time for our next stay. The hotel is on a main road which may put some people off but the soundproofing in the room is very good so I didn't hear the traffic. The room was also very warm despite it being a cold night which was good. Apart from the few hiccups, the room was great and I am looking forward to my next stay in the luxury room.
The problems that we addressed to the staff member was that the hallway being noisy late at night which woke me up a few times, there was some stains on the bed sheet and the television signal wasn't very good.
Rooms dirty and bad. Cleanliness. Ambience
Friendly staff on arrival Large room Cleanliness Location Breakfast
very good value hotel close to all amenities. staff very helpful.
nice stay n worth the money. good location. just next to train and bus station.
Bathroom was clean and adequate for our use.
When using the shower the bath felt a bit slippy and a grab rail would have been an added addition. This I mentioned to the chap on Reception when leaving. Better parking facilities would be much appreciated.
Near to railway station
Friendly staff and great location. Great breakfast too.
Noisey guests but staff sorted this out. Limited parking.
Location and price of hotel
Decor was very old fashioned and the room wasn't very clean
