Location Clean and functional Friendly and helpful staff Luggage room for early arrivals or late departures.
Paying for wifi Soft Matresses - not best for bed sharing in family rooms
Madee treats customers with kindness and respect. He tries to help the customer the best way he can and he makes and offers suggestion to make the situation easy and stress-free.
No plugs in the room if you want to charge your mobile phone. Pillows look very old very uncomfortable you'll wake up w/ stiffneck apart from that all's ok.
Convenient location. Friendly and helpful staff.
Having to carry my suitcase up lots of stairs. Single mature woman and no lift to my room!
The size of the room for 3 (2 adults and an 8 yr old) - Good size for London, we stayed in the basement. Fantastically located - even though we were on the road side of the hotel it was quiet.
The campbed for my grandson - he said it was a bit uncomfortable but it is a triple room and it WAS what I expected to be honest.
Everything in the hotel is very good. Food, staff, facilities, location, etc.
The price was high and the wifi at the room is not good. The toilet doesn't has ventilation.
Would stay here again.
Being in the basement, not having a view when looking out of the window.
Walking distance to Victoria station and centrum.
- Room was in the cellar without notice during reservation - small capacity of breakfast facility - bathroom not absolutely clean
Location was great and hotel generally was fine. Didn't encounter staff much as didn't spend much time in the hotel but when we did they were polite.
There was a funny smell in the stairwell which was quite over powering and unpleasant. Breakfast was not very exciting but there was plenty of it. Dining room was quite small and we arrived early enough to get a table but as others were arriving we felt under pressure leave.
- rooms were clean and not too small - our rooms faced toward the back, so noise was not an issue. But other side of the hotel could be very noisy
- beds could be better - we had a problem at the end. We left our luggage with the hotel, but when we returned to collect them nobody was manning the reception. We searched the entire hotel to find not a single member of staff. We had to wait good 20min for the receptionist to come back from some impromptu shopping excursion.
Within walking distance from Victoria station, the location of this hotel is excellent. The rooms are clean and the decor is fresh. For under £100 you are unlikely to get a room of this standard in central London. With continental breakfast included too. A self service all you can eat buffet including pastries, toast, juices, tinned fruit, muffins, tea, coffee, etc...
close to transport links to tour London sites
matress very old and uncomfortable room very small but adequate for a short stay
Location is good for access to gatwick airport. Comfortable bed, allows for restful sleep
Room is fairly small. Not much space to walk after placing 2 luggage on floor. Wifi reception is poor in the room
Friendly and helpful front of house staff. Clean rooms, small but had everything we needed.
Proximity to my conference hotel, and to Victoria Station.
The room we were originally put in, accessible only by going through the breakfast room, was so bad I don't think it should be legal to have guests in it. It stunk of mold, and we soon found out why - we opened the window (into a nasty little space) and every few minutes a drain from somewhere above opened, and water splashed on the sill and into the room. We refused to stay in it, and they found us a better room.
I liked the location because it was near the bus and tube station
I didn't like the room. It was in the basement. We could hear water running outside down a pipe. Cud also hear machines also. Room had 2 double beds in it and was very small. Tap didn't work right either and kept drowning us when turned on
Location to station and tourist attractions
Basement bedroom we only stayed one night which was ok would not like to be stayin longer in that room
location value comfort
nothing - as expected
Helpful staff in reception and he understood I was very jet lagged and ran after me to return my credit card which I had left at the desk. Greatly appreciated
After a good night's sleep woke to find there was no hot water. Very disappointed and I was told on check out that there was a plumbing problem
The location and the breakfast
Very close to Victoria Station
Mildew all round the shower. No hot water on the Sunday morning so could not have a shower. Layout of buffet - just outside the lift. No room to swing a cat in the Dining Room
I needed to visit the passport office and the hotel was directly opposite. For one or two nights, it was a comfortable choice. Or I imagine if you were in London sightseeing and using the hotel as a base to explore then it would be a good option. Hot showers, clean and the staff were polite and helpful.
Very clean well kept property, Ideal location for touring the sites of London. Nice staff very helpful small problem with no hot water and they dealt with it as fast as possible. Breakfast area clean and well stocked.
Only problem was room above started stomping about at 4.30am not great.
No free wi fi (only place on entire trip Computer in lobby down a lot. Very little tourist information Staff At desk was not knowledgable during check in Bed was very uncomfortable
Needed hotel close to Victoria station, found this - literary two mins away from it! Place is clean, staff is polite. Not bad breakfast. Stayed in a single room.
The bad thing - window is not actually window, it was facing some maintenance area, no fresh air.
