I was really pleased that the room we got was the same as the picture on the website. It was a twin room with two double beds and was modern, spacious and comfortable. We also had a tv and tea and coffee making facilities.

Perfect location - easy to reach main attractions in the city. Victoria station is just 5 min on foot. Lot's of little cafes, restaurants around. Rooms were clean, big enough (stayed in the room for 3 people). Air conditioning is working. Personel very helpful. May dad is "meat person" so for breakfast he missed some sausages (or meat in general) :)

There was nothing specifically wrong with the hotel but it was totally without character. Breakfast was basic. Adequate for the night but not welcoming, and it seemed like a lot of money for not much. There are better hotels nearby for similar money.

Fantastic location close to Victoria station. Clean. Great size room & bathroom. Apalling staff. Staff waking paying guests at 2:30am in the morning with loud singing & dancing out the front of the hotel.

Location right behind Victoria Station very convenient. If you get assigned to room no. 109, ask for another room. That is, unless you enjoy staying in a tomb. The room itself was reasonably spacious and comfortable, and was in the basement, but the window was screwed shut. This meant you could get no fresh air into the room. Having said that, it didn't matter much as the window appeared to face on to some kind of ventilation shaft, and allowed absolutely zero natural light into the room. There was absolutely no view of the outside world. Major claustrophobia was the result. Couldn't wait to get out of there. Breakfast ok. Staff quite rude. Never again!!!

This is a horrible hotel, especially when you pay 160.00 pounds a night. It is old, small, dirty, bed were OK, shower worked OK, breakfast was decent but far worse than at other hotels we stayed in throughout England. We have chosen this hotel because of the location near Victoria station - it is our favorite place to stay when in London because of the proximity to the sights and transportation. We stayed overnight to get over jet lag on our way to Bath. It was noisy and uncomfortable. I suppose it would be OK if the price matched the quality. It is not ikely we will stay here again. One more thing - the staff would not help us get our luggage out of the storage room. I had to lift and pool all other bags (far heavier then mine) to get to my bag. I am 5'5" and weight 120 pounds, I pack light so I can lift my stuff without anyone's help. I think it was merely rude to expect me to sort through the mess they have created in their storage room and lift heavy bags that did not belong to me. Everything besides the location. Location is superb, convenient to everything with lots of food options.

The best thing about this hotel is its location! Its situated 5 mins walk away from victoria rail, underground and coach stations. Also most main attractions are only a decent walk away like buckingham palace, london eye and leicester sq. The bonus is the price which is very reasonable for such a good location. The hotel itself is more than adequate for people on short trips as it is basic but comfortable!

The location is great. It is very close to Victoria Station. The room had a double and single bed, so nice for triple. Staff didn't speak very good English, but they were nice. Staff didn't seem to understand when you asked a question.

This hotel was extremely close to Victoria St and the sightseeing area of Westminster, which is why we chose it. Staff were friendly but we had no need for a lot of contact witht them. We saw cleaners everyday and someone came in the room and made beds everyday. When we asked for a change of towels, there was no problem. There was a good tv and air conditioning unit in our room. The room was a good temperature. There was a bottle of water, and good tea and coffee making facitilies. There were soap dispensers in the shower and by the wash basin and plenty of loo roll. Carpets were clean and in good condition, bed comfy enough with adequate covers for the night. Safe area as people are travelling through Victoria at all times so felt safe coming back late. Lift was handy and breakfast ok - toast, boiled egg, cereals, pastries, yogurts and tinned fruit, hot drinks machine and fruit juices - no staff at breakfast, take what you want and go back as often as you like. We were on the basement floor which I had already seen through reviews is the worst place. It was fairly noisy during the night as we were just below street level so heard everyone walking past. You could hear people coming back late at night in our corridor and the floor boards in the room above were noisy. The cushions on the bed were dirty. The bathroom was cold and damp, and although not dirty there was mould on shower doors and ceiling. The shower was good but the basin V. small. We paid 295 for 3 people for three nights so it was very good for this money in London and what I have listed above are not major problems. It is a good hotel and as long as you're not used to 5* its a good place to stay.

Exactly where we wanted to be, within budget, availability of triple room, luggage storage facility. Unexpectedly, room had sink, microwave and fridge. Could have been useful for longer stay. Breakfast better than expected. Musty smell in bathroom (attempted disguise with bleach) fan probably not working, but this criticism is not intended as official complaint.

Its was too noisy in the morning that you hear every guest shutting their doors for breakfast staff had an attitude when we were late to check out for 15 minutes or 20-as if it was sooooo busy !!! toilet was a bit smelly totally not good value for money but as we were 3 100 pounds was great in london on 30th dec. Night. When we reached the lady at the reception asked to take us to one of their chain hotel saying there was a dranage problem. We asked her to do something as we barly reached the hotel and our other friends were already in the same hotel.

Location, Price and Comfortable. Only one pillow on the bed. TV was not tuned in and hardly picked up any channels which is not ideal when you plan to take it easy in the hotel room at night.

Having read some of the reviews from trip advisor I was a bit worried, but I think people were expecting a different type of hotel and perhaps had unrealistically high expectations for such a hotel (due to different locations in the world I expect) perhaps the different levels of luxury need to be explained for different countries, then you would get better reviews. It was what I expected for a basic hotel in England and found it to be of comparable and actually slightly better accommodation than a travel lodge. As a family of 4 we only needed enough room to get dressed and sleep as much of the time we were out all day!! We asked for extra blankets and the receptionist happily obliged. Respect the staff and they will respect you. Nothing really other than I think the croissants at breakfast were a bit 'shop bought' but I didn't expect anything like a luxury breakfast, its a bit like staying in a motor hotel in france type of breakfast - basic.

Our second stay here in the last 2 weeks. We were up on the 3 rd floor this time. Room was very small Tv was unable to get any station and the lack of tea and coffee was very noticable.Having spent the last 2 weeks in europe this was the only hotel that charge for internet. I feel that this hotle should get with the times.
