Cleanliness, breakfast just right, good location between hammer smith & sheperd's bush tubes.
Rooms very small, but since we were most of the time outside, it did not bother us.
Good location, clean room, friendly stuff - I definitely recommend
location, friendliness of staff,
location to hammersmith appollo.
Had to wait outside the hotel for 25 mins in the cold , the mobile number posted on the door did not answer, we had to go to the sister hotel to raise the owner no opologies. room was ok shower to small. could hear everything outside the room and the gentleman in the next room snoring cheap but wouldnt recommend
Location, new bathroom, tv, breakfast tasted good but was described as continental. Only cold white toast on offer, scrambled/fried eggs, baked beans, orange juice, coffee/tea or two cereals.
Breakfast you fetch from the kitchen unit at the back of the reception area. The doorkeeper/receptionist was more interested in looking threatening than inviting or helpful. We booked a quaruple room (for 4) & it was a standard sized tiny room with two softy & lumpy beds. Massive cracks in the walls, filthy areas in the room, hairdryer was bust.
uncomfortable beds, there was a party until 4am on Friday night, shower was very poor with little temperture control. Breakefast was the worst, reception, kitcken and dining room is all the same room. the room was very warm, and no storage at all, and verry small room for 2 doubles
We liked Hammersmith area the hotel was fab and staff was so helpful we will stay there again soon
All it was is the wifi we was in the loft part so our iPads etc wouldn't pickup the wifi
The manager helped by calling booking.com call centre for me.
My booking was not recorded in their system even though I received a confirmation email that my booking was confirmed.
The location is perfect if you are going to the Eventim Apollo, it is in walking distance. The price is very good especially as it includes breakfast which was better than expected. The accommodation was very clean and tidy, almost looked new, beds are comfortable. Would stay there again.
The only problem was traffic noise but this is London.
The area is quite nice and the hotel is at short distance from Hammersmit's tube and the Apollo theater
The room was really hot, with no chance of opening the window; a lot of noise from the corridor (put some oil in the 2nd floor's door!); double-size beds are not so comfortable for sleeping in pairs The breakfast was quite basic The price is quite high compared to hotels in the rest of England... but aligned with other similar facilities in London
Good location, about 10min walk for the underground. Very kind frontdesk clerk who gave us much welcome advice on which buses or undergrounds to take.
Very small room. Extremely dirty walls... is it that hard to wash the walls or even give the a new layer of paint? Shower look good but the drain was so clogged that it took 30 minutes for the water to leave... We had a room downstairs and as soon as you took the stairway down the smell of sweat and old linen penetrated your nose...
There was always breakfast available and the room was always clean. For the money we had a place to sleep and that was good.It was also convenient to the convention center where we needed to be.
As an American, definitely not what you expect from a hotel. I traveled with a friend so the space provided was cramped. The shower was tiny. Also the building was near a police station so there was a lot of sirens. Lastly the wifi was extremely shady and kept dropping out.
Quiet area during the night, proximity to bus/underground stations, restaurants and a supermarket.
Double bed is very small for two people, mattress was in a bad condition. We were given rooms in the basement so if you left the window open during the night anyone could just enter the room. A basement-like smell is present on the whole floor, so air freshener is sprayed regularly. The windows are old and you can feel the air coming through at the sides. The bedside cabinet was broken, one light was not working. Even though we were two in the room only one towel was replaced each day. The hotel is stingy with toiletries. The reception is located in the breakfast room which is small and has too little tables and chairs. The receptionist seemed very bored and uninterested in guests, during breakfast he sometimes slept.
Awesome location, clean & tidy
Tiny room with the bed squeezed in right next to the wall
Breakfast, helpful staff, handy to underground
Very noisy if you have a room facing the street (main route for emergency vehicles)
Th e location
Central location close to underground station and other attractions
The bed was like sleeping on a rock and only one pillow was provided. The paint was peeling off walls and the wifi code provided would not let me or my travel companion onto the network.
It was clean had an adequate breakfast and on suite bathroom.
The room was very small and a little too warm. If we opened the window there was a lot of traffic noise.
Great wifi service and friendly staff
Stated a cooked breakfast but only had beans and egg. Found blood in 2 of our beds.
it was perfect for us .with going to hammersmith apollo theatre. it was a short walk to the apollo, also there was a variety of nice bars and restaurants .all within a sroll away .only stayed the one night
LOCATION AND STAFF
LACK OF WIFI
Everything was spotless in terms of bedding, towels and bathroom. It was centrally located. The breakfast was adequate.
Ceiling was mouldy. The garden outside the window was unclean and messy. The room was tiny. Noise permeated the hotel constantly at all times. Walls were splattered and full of cracks.
- Room is so small; you may get shock of how small it is :) - Room has no openable window so will be stuffy & limited ventilation. Luckily, we have another door & ask for key to open for additional fresh air - Breakfast has eggs & beans in tomato sauce with baked breads; cereals with milk; yogurt, cup cake & fruits are provided, too
Good price. Good location. Clean bedrooms and facilities.
Staff not very helpful. Quite rude, perhaps not intentionally but that's how it came across. Tried several times to change room and booking and was constantly told I needed to speak to manage who was never available. Not changing the room was ok, i understand it's policy. However there was no need to be rude about it. We had two rooms. I paid for one with a debit card and the second room I said my friend would be paying for later (she was on a later train) the man at the desk said it was ok to do. Next day, checking out, my friend (in the other room) said she had been told by reception that I had already paid for her room. When I queried this they said they'd taken the payment from my card details that had been saved in booking.com. I told them this was unacceptable and that they did not have my permission to use this card as it had no money in the account and I'd be charged if they didn't reverse it. They made a big deal about it and in the end I had to get quite cross and my friend paid on her card. They made it really difficult. Mostly I was upset because they'd used a card I had told them not to use when they said it was ok to pay when my friend arrived. I wouldn't stay again because of this.
apartment was clean. helpful staff.
space to move around, hang clothes, put bags. shower is small, has little water and takes a long time to get warm.
