Breakfast was great. Cozy Hotel. Good location to public transport.
No laundry facilities and local laundromat not open after 9pm or before 8am which really impacted us due to our long day plans. Bathrooms could have been cleaner, poor water pressure and drainage.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely. Our room was compact but for a short stay not a problem. Would be happy to stay again.
Helpful staff and good location.
The basement rooms suffer from damp, if you have chest problems, beware!
Breakfast is good, location is ok, close to the tube station about 7-10 mins walk, and the staff is really nice and helpful, wifi is good as well.
the room maybe a little small
Most other things. I'm not going to go into vitriol like others but to be quite honest, walking into a tiny basement room and finding, in the tiny shower room, the shower mat soaking wet, did not instil any confidence for our stay. Suffice to say, if we had not paid up front, which I'm still looking into, we would have walked out there and then.
The manager and staff on duty were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was more than adequate.
The bathroom was very small while not having an air-conditioner in the room in the middle of summer meant that the room was not as comfortable as it could have been.
Room was very clean. Staff were very friendly. Mine was a one-night stay and the room was perfect for my needs. The location is excellent and breakfast was very welcome. I will definitely be back.
Room was a little small but I expected this from previous reviews. For extended stays that might be a problem but for me it was fine. Others also mentioned noise from the road so bringing earplugs is a must for light sleepers.
location + staff
10min walk to tube
There was no mirror other than in the bathroom which isn't ideal for a group of girls to get ready in. The shower was also extremely hot or freezing cold
Great location, nice breakfast, great staff, working Wi-FI not only in reception but also in the room! great!
Really want to be able to recommend this hotel as 99% of it was perfect! But the bed was so impossible to sleep in, my back was hurting every day walking around London after sleeping on it. Very painful and sucked being tired throughout my holiday.
i was given a room with 2 double beds and that was very nice. breakfast was nice too. i really liked the hotel and would tell everyone to stay here. thank you
staff was good, also paid good price, braekfast really good and decent rooms
no mirror in the room and more shampoo plz
Everything was perfect
Location Comfortable bed Fridge in room was a bonus Attentive staff Breakfast included
No working wi-fi Rooms very warm and small TV signal was poor
Where to begin. Initially I made a mistake booking the room but trying to resolve this matter took 6 extremely frustrating and expensive phone calls. I kept being told to call back in an half an hour, an hour, tomorrow or next week. I asked if they could call me back when it was a convient time and was told they couldn't do so because they didn't have my number, i explained that I would give them my number but they still wouldn't. On the 6th phone call they managed to resolve the situation but I simply don't know why it took so many calls and why there were so rude! I still had no written confirmation of the amended booking but was told I could settle the slight difference in price when I arrived. I attempted to call pre-arrival but couldn't get through cos the mailbox was full. On arrival I was told there was nothing to pay and could stay the two nights as I wished but would have to move rooms for the second night. I said fine, just releaved that we had a bed for the second night. There was a constant pipe/water noise the whole night and the shower was terrible but other than that it was clean and comfortable enough. What you'd expect from a budget hotel. The next day we packed up our stuff ready to move rooms only to be told we no longer needed to but I did need to pay extra. Oh also the wifi and card machine were down the whole weekend.
Location: The hotel was a short walk to the underground. Large tv in bedroom.
Overall hygiene: Base of shower covered in black water.Carpets not clean. Window sill filthy. Questionable bed clothes. Had to ask and wait for key to front door.
Friendly staff and cheap rates.
Breakfast & wifi was fine
Room extremely small, toilet smelly & not able to hang clothes in toilet.
The location for the Hammersmith Apollo was very good and the breakfast was good with pleasant staff.
We were located under another room with VERY sqeaky floorboards, you could hear every footstep. The fact that the people above chose to get up at 06.00am didn't help matters at all.
Location. friendly staff
Shower did'nt work very wel Wifi connection wasn't very good. Carpets on the floor --> There where a lot of spots on it! Beds and pillows needs to be changed.
The hotel was an ideal base for our trip to see a concert at Hammersmith Apollo. Although pretty basic, the room was comfortable, and easily accommodated the four adults in our party. It was clean, and the beds provided a good, comfortable night's sleep. The location was perfect, being within easy walking distance of the concert venue and Underground station. The breakfast provided was ideal for our purposes, and the facilities were clean. Overall, the hotel provided good, low budget, short stay accommodation.
very close to Hammersmith if you are in for concert in the Apollo. Rooms are clean
very noisy, you can hear through walls and ceiling. rooms are extremely small breakfast tables are not cleaned after a previous guest is been using them.
Staff cooperation and location
No proper facilities like no storage for your luggage rooms and bathrooms are too small causing suffocation. Bit smell etc.
The location was really good, close to underground and buses, restaurants cafés and all amenities.
As always the "value for money" in London is controversial.Very basic breakfast which you had to queue for as there where not enough chairs for the guests, very small rooms, old smelly carpets and £100 per night! Anywhere else in Europe that would cost £40-50! So to put it gently we did not get what we paid for we just got an expensive roof over our heads.
