There was a nice atmosphere and I liked the reception area. Staying in room 605 turned out to be a bit noisey, probably because of the fact that the elevator was next to my room door. I was awakened apporximately 10-15 times every night, which of course was annoying. Apart from that everthing was fine. |

Fairly pleasant spot with good access to Ken. Gardens, Underground, and nice walk to Albert Hall and museums. Good variety on offer at breakfast, tho' cooked breakfast a little pricey! Our room was rather small, even tho' only stayed 2 nights. |

I thought the location was excellent, very close to the tube station and nice to have Hyde Park across the way - it was perfect for our needs n/a |

We really liked the location. There was a comfortable bed and the breakfast was good. The water temperature of the shower was constantly changing. |

Great location - quiet square, near Hyde Park and Paddington Station. Atmosphere generally good - nice sitting area, bar. Breakfast offered a good range of food. Room, corridors and dining room were rather cramped. It would have been good if reception staff had warned us on our arrival that there is building work going on next door. As it was when we went to our room it sounded as if someone was going to drill their way in to join us. There was no problem with noise through the night or next morning. Carpets could do with an update. |

It's situated in a very quiet almost tranquil corner of Lancaster Gate,only a short bus ride into Picadilly Circus. Initially we were given a basement room,something I had never experienced in a hotel before. We complained - not becasue of the room itself which was very comfortable - and were given another larger one on the ground floor.One drawback to the room was that its window overlooked a courtyard facing other windows, so no real view and no sense of privacy unless blind was lowered. |

The location is excellent for the tub, the area we found was quiet (even with a room close to the restaurant area, as ours was) and the bed and room clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic. The staff were without fault. The elevator is very small. |

I booked this hotel for my parents (in their 60s). The got a quiet room albeit rather small space for the money I paid for. My parents don't speak English so if I weren't there I am not sure how the staff were able to deal with them because they didn't seem to offer any other language skills (except for the waiters in the canteen). Overall a pleasant stay though. |

Terrace veranda with view. Breakfast included. 3 bed room for family. Stairs to room quite narrow. In compensation ,lift was efficient and not busy. |

Hotel in a great situation. Opposite the park and very near to tube station. Nice area. Staff pleasant enough but did not go out of there way to be helpful. This hotel in great need of urgent refurbishment if to continue to be advertised as 4 'star'. Everything a little old and tatty. I would not recommmnd to friends in the state it is in now |

Central and easy access to main areas of London. Very annoyed about lack of electrical power in room. THe 13amp sockets only stayed on for a few seconds.This was room 301 when I stated this at reception I was told it was for safety reasons.All rooms were the same.As an ex-H&S.E.Inspector I could not understand the reasoning.Consequently my wife could not use the hotel supplied hair drier.I May be cynical but to me this seems and ideal was to cut down on the hotels electricity bill.COMMENTS Please. |

The size of the bed, quiet room, helpful & pleasant staff, good buffet breakfast. The hand shower attachment would not stay in its clip and it would have been better if it could have had an alternative higher mounting point for those who don't like the central fixed head. Bedside lighting adequate but could be better. |

It was right next to Hyde park. Perfect for our morning runs. The room was tiny and the bathroom was miroscopic. But this is typical in London. |

The location of the hotel is very good in terms of walking/bus/tube access to the centre of London. The rooms are good and tidy with good bathroom facilities but not over spacious. Reception is very helpful. The breakfast buffet could be expanded - it was a little limited. The breakfast/dining room was a little cramped. |
