The staff were always helpful and the ambience was quiet and peaceful

my room was much too small and cramped

I thought the location was excellent, very close to the tube station and nice to have Hyde Park across the way - it was perfect for our needs

It's situated in a very quiet almost tranquil corner of Lancaster Gate,only a short bus ride into Picadilly Circus.

Initially we were given a basement room,something I had never experienced in a hotel before. We complained - not becasue of the room itself which was very comfortable - and were given another larger one on the ground floor.One drawback to the room was that its window overlooked a courtyard facing other windows, so no real view and no sense of privacy unless blind was lowered.

The suite was very spacious and well tended.

there was no lift to our second story room.

Terrace veranda with view. Breakfast included. 3 bed room for family.

Stairs to room quite narrow. In compensation ,lift was efficient and not busy.

Hotel in a great situation. Opposite the park and very near to tube station. Nice area. Staff pleasant enough but did not go out of there way to be helpful.

This hotel in great need of urgent refurbishment if to continue to be advertised as 4 'star'. Everything a little old and tatty. I would not recommmnd to friends in the state it is in now

Central and easy access to main areas of London.

Very annoyed about lack of electrical power in room. THe 13amp sockets only stayed on for a few seconds.This was room 301 when I stated this at reception I was told it was for safety reasons.All rooms were the same.As an ex-H&S.E.Inspector I could not understand the reasoning.Consequently my wife could not use the hotel supplied hair drier.I May be cynical but to me this seems and ideal was to cut down on the hotels electricity bill.COMMENTS Please.

It was right next to Hyde park. Perfect for our morning runs.

The room was tiny and the bathroom was miroscopic. But this is typical in London.

The location was excellent. Right at the entrance to Hyde Park with the the tube located nearby. Gorgeous hotel, lovely restaurant and lovely comfortable rooms. The continental breakfast is more than adequate. Will stay here again.

The cleaning lady kept coming into our room when we were in the room. Once at 8.30am and again at 9am on Sunday morning. That was all.

The staff was very polite, the rooms were of a good size and so value for money. The location is also ideal for me.

They often run out of hot water in the bath. Some of the bath fittings are quite old.

The breakfast was quite good and the staff were friendly.

The photos on the internet were not like the rooms we were given.
