We were very so pleased with everything at Commodore Hotel. We had our wedding taking place during our stay and we had many of our guests staying at the hotel as well. We highly recommend this hotel. |

Rooms were very small, especially the bathroom. I was also very disappointed with the breakfast buffet as i assumed it would be a full range buffet like we would get in any hotel in Ireland, As I don't enjoy bread and cheese it was a let down. Was not prepared to spend more money on the alternative menu. |

Room very comfortable 601 twin continental breakfast provided very good option to buy extras 2 slices of bacon 2.75 but not really needed as hot boiled eggs and cold ham provided. The area is perfect right opposite Hide park and Kensington gardens.Lovely food at local pub The Swan, mask steak pie and carvery choices all under a tenner. The Serpentine 20 mns walk away in Hide park has a kitchen cafe which you can have coffee or a meal in and sit and look at the water, very peaceful. Shops in Oxford St are very close by bus 94 or 390 runs from the end of the road every 4-12 mns. 390 will take you to Kings Cross. tv has some Sky channels. Its an old victorian hotel with all the mod cons. No but some reviews expect an old buiding to completely change itself and still keep the character...impossible. |

Great welcoming staff - nothing was too much trouble. Room could have been a bit larger but it did have a roof terrace with chairs and a table. |

Staff were friendly enough and the outside of the building and lobby area conveyed a positive image. The room was cramped and rather lacking in character with only a mirror on one wall. We were given a basement room without any view. It was not the romantic setting I had anticipated. The real problem is that the room charge is far too high for what you get compared to other London hotels I have stayed in. |

The location and standard of the rooms was good for the price. I have stayed at the hotel 3 times now, for 4 days at a time, and it is comfortable (not luxurious) and clean. There are some rooms that are very small and not as pleasant as others. I was given one on this last trip but the staff were very efficient in moving me to a better room. The breakfast room can be a bit of a scrum in the peak hour morning rush. |

We loved the breakfast, the location, the Victorian style rooms - and the staff was extremely helpful and informative. No, not really - we had a splendid stay. |

Very convenient in terms of location: perfect for those early morning strolls around Hyde Park. Also, it offers an excellent breakfast and it is very clean, the beds very comfy. It comes about 53 pounds per person per night, which is fair enough in the centre of London! |

The price and the location - close to Tube but in quiet street. Although we'd been told ours was a deluxe double with a high standard of decor I thought it was slightly shabby - chipped tiles in bathroom for example. I also thought we should have been told that there was a short flight of stairs from the bathroom to the bedroom. This didn't bother us but could have been difficult for elderly/disabled guests. Our friend's room elsewhere in the hotel had a similar set-up |
