If i am honest there was nothing i liked about hotel other than the location We arrived at hotel & we were shown to bungalow room was very dated stuck in the 80s no pictures on walls very plain but clean, bathroom shower is no good if you are a tall person is mounted on wall across bath with glass splash panel on side of bath so very tight fit.Bed was comfortable but did not get much sleep as big generator lorry was outside our room at 6am & now to the worst bit the breakfast it was buffet style & had been sweating for at least a couple of hours no one had even touched the sausages there were only egg yokes so my partner asked for scrambled egg it arrived micro waved so could not be eaten. All this was mentioned to reception before we left but was told manager was not there but would be in touch via email if food was cooked fresh there would also be a lot less wastage.

We did like the location of the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was average but fairly priced and the hotel on a whole was good value for money Hotel very tired and could do with a good makeover. The full english breakfast was not up to the standard of the other foood we had in the restaurant.

Well located next to the beach, the hotel is a few miles outside of Weston Supermare in the little village of Kewstoke. The staff were very friendly and the carvery and a la carte good value. The room was fine and there were two NT. houses nearby.Good walking on headland and inland footpaths.

A Group of us went to Weston for an overnight stay something we do every 6 months, we chose the commodore for price and knew it was out of weston so was prepared for that. The Hotel was the best Ive stayed in weston for price . The staff were very polite and helpful, the room was clean . Room was lovely and warm and after staying in a previous hotel last year it was a god send. Being 5 of us a larger taxi was needed but only cost us £9 to get into town which was ideal. Bed I slept in was extremely comfortable , lovely plump pillow and no noise during the night. Breakfast was amazing considering it was included in price. Selection of juices(5), good selection of fruit, yoghurts and cereal , plus and excellent fresh cooked breakfast of your choice. Eggs were very fresh and the standard of breakfast was 10 out of 10. Will be booking again Not really anything I didnt like hotel, was excellent value but I like my coffee strong and it wasnt :( but thats personal tastes

Friendly staff and good value food 1. Room very dark-brighter light bulbs-it was impossible to shave in the bathroom 2. Shower screen quite dangerous if you wanted a bath 3. Room 11 very small. Impossible to open the wardrobe without moving the furniture

Its location, the friendly staff, the atmosphere and the budget- priced food. Our room hadn't been cleaned properly - the quilt cover was torn and was a 4ft 6 cover on a 5ft bed. The floor hadn't been hoovered and there were toothpaste stains in the bathroom. The staff were apologetic when we politely told them but did not offer us any discount. Previously we'd had a very good stay here so this was disappointing.

Small but friendly hotel. Bar meals were excellent value (2 for £11.00) Very important as very few other eating venues within walking distance. Short car ride to Weston Super Mare. Pleasant walk along Sands Bay which is opposite the Hotel. All in all a very enjoyable 2 night stay. Would have liked a comfy seating area away from the Bar as a reading area and also to enjoy a coffee after our meal. Understand there used to be a Conservatory but this has now been incorporated into 'Alice's Restaurant. There were 2 sofa's in the Reception but this area in the evening was very cold as doors were constantly being opened by smokers to go outside.

Our stay was excelent value for money thanks for the price obtained through booking.com. Staff were welcoming and helpful throughout, the breakfast was excellent, and evening meals good value, particulatrly the nightly carvery, £11 for two meals. It's a few miles outside of Weston-super- Mare, which wouldn't suit everybody but was perfect for us.We would definitely stay again. The first room we had been allocated was close to a loud extraction unit. We asked to be moved and the receptionist was happy to do so, moving us to a much better room at no extra cost. This was typical of the service we received during our two night stay.

Friendly informative staff. Free parking great. Clean, although dated. Not happy with the party going on until midnight, we had a baby. There was no mention on their website about it on a Thursday, just weekends. Drink prices extortionate. Evening meal nice but very small portion. Breakfast precooked and warmed up so not impressed.

The room was old fashioned in need of refurbishment. Black damp stains in corner of room. The gloss paintwork is awful. There was a long wait at breakfast. There bowls for hot buffett were not filled. The food is of a good standard.

Service and staff were excellent, ample off road parking, breakfast was lovely. Above head height was not cleam, eg cobwebs in majority of places, lack of hot water in the shower and it felt that the decoration a bit tired inside and out. On initially ringing the hotel we couldnt get through.

It was a very quiet location right by the beach. We were given a room in an annexe which I assume used to be staff quarters. It was very cold on arrival and the receptionist got someone to switch some heat on both in the porch and in the bedroom. The bathroom was very dated, some of the grouting was black around the bath, there was mould on the ceiling but at least they hadn't got carpet on the floor. I had hoped that we would have a seaview but sadly we look out on to a shed/garage which we were very disappointed by. I think the whole place needs some money investing into it to encourage people to come back because the location is brilliant.

The room we stayed Rm 14 was fantastic and ideal for me my son and my mum. I did expect the room to be too small as my son is nearly 2 and too big for a cot, the additional room was a surprise and fantastic, I will definatley stay again if I can have that room or a similar room if I brought my partner so I could have a double with the additional room.
