Beautiful hotel & great location. Our room was a complete bonus too we stayed in 'Thunder & Lightening' ( each room given individual names) and it had an amazing view of the river and bridge...so lovely! I stayed with my daughter aged 8 and she thought the room was 'awesome' ( in her words) as she was in a tennis tournament nearby so it was a great treat for her.Next time we shall stay for longer as Marlow is so pretty & lots to see& do.Thank You a lovely stay I'd recommend to anyone X.

The location was lovely, a wonderful ambience and the staff were very helpful indeed. We found the bedrooms to be a little on the small side. Also, the breakfast is extremely over priced at £19.50 each. We had dined at the michelin starred Hand and Flowers restaurant the previous day and the price of lunch was cheaper than the breakfast at the hotel and of much higher standard. We had the smoked kippers for breakfast which were not of very good quality and we had to pay a premium for this food item. It was a disappointing end to what had been a lovely stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone but not the breakfast.

The food and staff were first rate. Noise from a function and then the people going to the rooms kept us awake until 1am, not great and we were never told.

The location was excellent as it was a lovely walk to the high street which took a few minutes. The hotel had a lovely traditional feel to it and we were upgraded to a four poster bed room which was excellent, very spacious and clean and very comfortable with a fabulous view of the river. The bathroom was very large and well equipped. The food in the bar was not up to standard, we ordered sandwiches and they had no flavour to them at all which was quite disappointing as the restaurant has excellent reviews.

The location on the R.Thames, the quality of the staff and their numbers. The ambience of the hotel itself. My one disappointment was that having used my bank card to leave a depoit on arrival, £450, I not only had my funds tied up for that amount plus the hotel bill itself, almost £800 in total. Fortunately my own bank were able to release the initial sum immediately I returned home.

Beautiful and central location. Staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. Finding the rooms is a little 'Fawlty Towers'-esque. Prices are high for rooms, meals and drinks.

Great location Value for money, Room was very expensive and not what I would expect an executive room to be like, it was small, the shower leaked and the lighting was dull.

This was a real treat- Excellent room and facilites, helpful staff. Good service and breakfast The thump of the disco music for a wedding at the hotel made sleep difficult even thought the hotel had tried very hard to provide a room as far away as possible

“Parking was free. The room was very pleasant, comfortable, clean and welcoming. The bed was comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. Towels and towelling robe was provided. Also mini products of body wash, shampoo and moisterizer. Sport channels on the tv which could also be heard in the bathroom. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and as much as you wanted to eat. It was overall a very pleasant stay.” Brian, Colchester |
