Convenience of location for business. The variable pricing of midweek nights at the hotel - I was charged £45 for a room there 2 weeks before my recent stay but was charged £70 for the same room 2 weeks later. The £45 price represents good value but the £70 price (especially without breakfast included) does not. |

Near to city centre, about 15 minutes walk. Room was not prepared at 14:00, after protesting they gave me another one. Bathroom was not clean. It was difficult to find the hotel due to lack of signs. Room was so hot. Noise in the early morning. Check out at 09:00 which is early. |

Parking is now a problem: whereas until recently hotel guests could park for the duration of one's stay, one is now required to leave the car park by 0800h. This means driving to a paying car park, most of which are at least 10 minutes' walk away. Since breakfast is from 0730-0900 this is most inconvenient, and expensive. |

Nice bar and restaurant area. Small room which was very hot. Having window open not a good option because of noise levels from outside. Curtains thin so room was very light meaning I woke up several times in early morning. |

free wireless internet in the rooms and bar/lobby was quite excellent.while the room was small, it had everything i needed and was quite clean, the shower was excellent as well. the only thing that would have been better was if there was information on an indoor lockable bike storage, that would have made it just that much better for me. |

Friendly, helpful staff. Decent breakfast. Good for short business stays or budget travellers. Small bathroom would become uncomfortable after a couple of days. Slightly soulless atmosphere, as this building is part of the business school. |

Buffet breakfast was good. I was with a group of people at a conference and we were all quoted different prices for the same room- i found this dissatisfactory. |

The hotel was very central so easy to get to from New Street station (about 15 mins walk). Good buffet breakfast. Helpful staff. My room was generally clean but the bath towel wasn't and had to be replaced. I ate in the bar which has a limited menu. Two of the items had run out by 8.30. Also I thought that £8.95 was quite expensive for a burger on its own (£2 extra for some frozen chips). |

I was there for a seminar the following day and it was really nice to stay in a good clean room with a nice bathroom and be able to relax before the event the following day. |

The room was modern and comfortable. The heated mirror in the bathroom was a nice touch. There was a good choice for the buffet style breakfast, including eggs cooked to order. The hotel is well placed for visiting the city centre. The bathroom sink looked clean, but was actually scummy when water was put into it. The bathroom toiletries were in squeezy bottles attached to the wall and it was quite difficult to get the liquids out. Parking was only available between 6.00pm and 8.00am but you are not warned about this before you arrive. |

The staff could not have been more polite and helpful. I thought the cost of the breakfast was excessive . |

Breakfast ok difficulty in parking, booked in 18.00, parked ok, went out and returned to be told by someone over the intercom that they would not lift the car park barrier, eventually they did, but i was told to leave by 8.00 the next morning (contrary to booking info!) |
