Excellent food. Good clean accomodation. Friendly staff. Easy booking. Near to City. Free parking. Good value for money Needed more staff in the Restaurant Bar in the evening. Slightly impersonel rooms, only one pillow each. Restaurant lacked atmosphere |

Spacious, light (huge windows) and comfortable room of fairly recent standard, pleasant and friendly staff. 15 min. walk from New Street Rail station. Internet available near the lobby if you're not travelling with a laptop. Would be quite all right to stay here for a week if working etc. We stayed in a double room (since they do not have twin rooms), and were a bit surprised to see that there was only one, large duvet. That's great for snuggling couples but we didn't really want to share and asked if there were an extra available. The staff were very nice and promised to get one if at all possible - we got a spare delivered 2 minutes later, lovely service! It would have been great to have a hairdryer in the bathroom, but that's a very, very minor issue. |

The hotel was much nicer than we thought it would be and great value for money, especially the weekend rates The parking was free on Saturday and Sunday, but on Thursday when we arrived and Friday we had to find alternative parking which was not what we expected as we thought we had read that parking waas on site and free. |

The Aston Hotel was great and would have been perfect if it was not for people talking in the corridors in the early hours. (Not your fault we think they were rowing) Security personel may have been useful in that instance. |

Cheap, comfortable, clean rooms, helpful, friendly staff, great overall standard including high-speed free wifi. It can get very noisy, the walls are thin and if you suffer from any mobility issues I would strongly suggest requesting a room near the lifts in advance, as there are some very long corridors! |

Very modern, with clean, smartly decorated rooms. Complimentary upgrade good. Would recommend as good value. Only 5 TV channels. More than one lot of unruly 'neighbours' woke us several times banging on one anothers doors and arguing in the hall for long periods but it was busy Sat night before Christmas and not hotel's fault really. However, staff could have possibly intervened as did spoil an otherwise very pleasant stay. |

A good location, handy for city centre, at a reasonable price. Very good breakfast. The room was hot to start with (one big radiator) but did cool down later once I'd turned this off. |

Rooms were comfortable and very adequate for a nights stay, within walking distance of the City Centre. Reasonable price for a good location Busy weekend, there was obviously inadequate staffing at breafast, was lucky enough to have, but others who were later did not get full chioce, or great service, If as a hotel you know you've booked out all your rooms why not staff and plan accordling (its not rocket science!!!). |

Absolutely brilliant, 4* standard as others have said. Kind and friendly staff, room clean, lovely and quiet, delicious hot bar food, just ideal if you have a car. I suppose if you haven't got a car it would be about a 20-25 minute walk from New Street station but not applicable to me. |

I managed to get a single room for £35 for a Saturday night, and used it stay at after a night out. So in that respect it's a little further away from birminghams night life but very close to the shopping center. I got the room cheap so for the price I paid the facilities were decent including free wifi. Parking is an issue. It is free however they only have a limited amount, I think 50. There is some on road parking about 300yards down the road however very few spots are available there and depending on when you arrive you may need to pay. |

Room. Friendliness of one member of evening staff (Bruno) and breakfast staff. Ate at the hotel twice in the evenings (once in the bar and once in the restaurant). Quality of food was mediocre. Choice also limited. Found general styling of hotel cold. |

The room was spaciuos, comfortable, modern and very clean. The restaurant is quite basic and the location is outside the heart of the city with not much other choice available. Only 5 terestrial TV channels available. |

Not very much. The Hotel is close to Birmingham Town Centre. Thats about the only good thing except the staff. Everything except the staff was awful. |
