The Birmingham Britannia Hotel is across from Birmingham New Street Station. It offers rooms with bathtubs and showers, Jenny’s Restaurant, where you can see the chef’s at work, and Harvey’s Bar.

The 4-star Hotel La Tour Birmingham is just a 5-minute walk from the Bullring Shopping Center. It serves modern food in its stylish restaurant.
Score from 428 reviews Excellent
Just a 5-minute walk from the famous Bullring Shopping Center, pentahotel Birmingham has a great location, less than one mile from the center of Birmingham.
Score from 808 reviews Very good
Very convenient because close to the lab I was working. Also clean.
It is an Student and professor sleeping tool not a real Hotel same advice for the restaurant :-)
Perfect location for visit to Aston University. Walking distance from train station. Helpful staff. Good food.
Price point high-ish but not totally unreasonable.
Wonderful technical support called Bill, made everything run smoothly and eased my stress! All staff on the desk very friendly and helpful, and kitchen/refreshments staff all very helpful and hard working.
The hotel had clean and tidy premises. The rooms were efficiently laid out and the furniture was of good quality.
Where do I start. I was put in the last room on the 5th floor. Maybe the front desk thought because I was overweight I needed the exercise. Well, it had to be about a half a mile walk to the room dragging my bag because the hotel was so huge. No porter or baggage cart to be seen. The walk was in addition to having to that from the parking lot at the back of the building in a lonely area and for which they charged a fee of £7.50, a ridiculous price. The bed was so hard that I was unable to get a good night's sleep. With the health issues that I have, needless to say, I was not about to leave the room unnecessarily. Good thing I was there for only one night when I had to walk down and back twice because I had to leave the car out front to check in and then go back to take it to the parking lot. I won't stay there again.
Good location, very clean.
Breakfast was very basic and not befitting the standard of the hotel generally. Hot food was obtained via self service from small bain Marie type containers. Cold food selection was very basic too.
Excellent location and safe, secure parking facilities
Member of check-in staff on arrival kept answering queries from other guests and answering the phone instead of giving us her attention. Only one bath towel on second day. Having our full cups of tea and table cleared during breakfast when we had got up to help ourselves from the buffet. Only four people in dining room so obvious we hadn't left the room.
Hard to find , room was a little shabby
The support and service, the size and comfort of the room, the lovely view, the proximity to the conference centre
That dinner was not available at the hotel, and the fact that it is not noise proof from loud students at the student union bar.
Proximity to where I needed to be was good. Clean and modern rooms.
Room was spacious and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very nice.
Wi-fi occasionally dropped out but was excellent otherwise.
Friendly staff, meal were nice.
My sheets had stains on them All facilities where in a separate building.
Very friendly and helpful staff both at reception and in the restaurant. Very good facilities as it is a conference hotel. Comfortable room affording a good nights sleep. Near to the centre of Birmingham but quiet.
Waitress rushed me out of restaurant.
The hotel was immaculate and the room was spacious and modern as well as having all the utilities you could need. Would definitely stay here again.
The staff at breakfast were not massively helpful, for example didn't explain to us that there were hot food options in a seperate area.
location comfortable room clean tea making facilities friendly staff at reception
couldnt get onto the wifi and slow lifts
The booking process and the location.
The room was lovely and comfortable, I only wish I got to spend more time in it.
Trying to get off the 3rd floor is a bit confusing if you other than the one lift.
I really liked the place . It is quite and no busy trafic
Slow wifi Solid bed
Bed, and bathroom
Stayed two weeks ago, it was amazing. However, been woken up at 1.45am by a fire alarm and then not anything been said about it in the morning or any apologies, made my impressions down hill, especially as i had a big exam the next day! Also, electric sockets need checking, the plug on hairdryer became extremely hot and i burnt my hand badly, not expecting it to be hot.
The staff were good and friendly.
The food at breakfast was cold and had alot of waiting around as things had run out.
Ideally located as I was attending conference at the business school
No swimming facilities - I was looking forward to a swim as the website shows a large pool. This was shut for the time I was there. maybe its part of the university but its not in the same building as the hotel
The new decor, colour & warmth of the atmosphere
Not as much food choose at breakfast other wise food was good
Location great my trip to the university
The parking option is not available on booking.com and there was no parking available when I phoned. I parked in the millennium car park just a 5 minute walk away which was only £5.40 for 24hrs.
