Conference Aston Hotel  

良い意味で期待はずれでした。（Aston大学の敷地内、Business School に併設されるホテルなので期待しておりませんでした。)　お値段に見合ったホテルで、部屋が広く、バスタブもあり快適でした。

Birmingham New Street駅からはバスでは１区間、歩くとちょっとした距離（たったか歩いて１５分くらい）があり不便と- いえば不便でした。

Didn't stay long enough to form an overall opinion

It was basic, little better than normal student accommodation. Although some refinements had been attempted such as tea and coffee making facilities this did not disguise the rather frugal, downbeat, tired and dated accommodation. There was a building site between the alloted car park and the so called 'hotel'. There were no instructions on how to get from the car park to the hotel which involved a long walk around the perimeted of the extensive building site.

The rooms were exceptionally clean, well equipped and very well appointed. This is excellent priced budget accommodation for a weekend! It is far superior to Ibis, Etap, or Holiday Inn Express.

Check out time is 10.00 am, which is a bit early for a Sunday morning!!

Location. Room clean and efficient

The food was overly expensive. In the restaurant we were presented with an a la carte menu which was £13 for one course and only offered 3 choices. It was only when I saw that the next table had a steak and asked where it was on the menu that I was given an extensive and much more affordable bar menu. Not impressed. Breakfast was £12 I think. More like a cafeteria. Small cup of tea, not even given a pot. That really isn't good enough. It felt like a university building, not like a hotel. Staff were like uni staff, not hotel staff.

Good location, good price and a good sleep.

Poor lighting in the room. I could barely read on my bed and had to rely on the glimmer of light coming from the desk light. The endless walk to my room from the lift.

My daughter studies at Aston University, so the hotel's perfect for my weekends trips to meet her. Loved the room, the shower, the toiletries, the friendly & efficient staff and the delicious breakfast.

Check-out time should be later, so you can use the facilities for at least 24 hours.

The staff were very proffessional & helped with room changed. Very imoressed.

Great location right on campus at the Aston University

Very difficult to find, even with gps. You must enter the Postal Code to find the hotel, it is not listed in the Hotel directory on a TomTom gps. Even then I had to ask 2/3 people where exactly the hotel is.

I choose the hotel for its location. The room itself was fine too. Breakfast was very nice.

1) Room was too warm - impossible to sleep 2) was trying to ring the bar for 30mins -nobody was answering 3) the food arrived 1h and 40mins after my order -cold and still charged for 'tray service' 4) i watched a youtube video, which used all my internet allowance for the day 5) my towels were removed from the room and never replaced - i couldn't have shower the next morning 6) staff was polite, but definately the hotel needs to employ more

I had to attend for a days worth of exams in a building over the road, so very close to venue. Rooms basic and clean.

Signage is poor on the outside. Low lighting in the rooms could of done with a bright reading light on the desk.

Friendly staff, comfortable room, good and safe car parking, excellent breakfast, 15 mins walk to the very heart of City Centre, what more could you want in a place to stay overnight in Birmingham?

A well presented hotel in a good location.

Breakfast service was slow as there wasn't enough food cooked. Therefore people were waiting a while for fresh bacon, eggs and sausages.
