The location was very close to the seafront. It was also quite a quiet location. It was very cheap. The staff were very friendly. There is a car park very close, so parking was not an issue.
The hotel is very run down, although there is a sign they are renovating. In my opinion, it needs a complete refubishment. It smelt a big doggy and old. Probably because the carpet is old, so if this was changed it would make such an improvement. The room I had needs a complete redecoration, as the wall paper is coming off and there are a lot of holes in the walls. My room was as basic as you could get. It smelt clean (of bleach), but hadn't had a thorough clean. The bath mat was a carpet style mat, so could not be put through the wash, so I used a towel instead. The bed was very hard, so I didn't sleep very well. There were tea making facilities, but the mugs were very old, so could do with some new ones. There was no light bulb in the mirror light, so it was a struggle for makeup in the morning. The first floor internal door, slammed hard, everytime someone used it, so this was very disturbing late at night and early in the morning. A slow close door would make a vast improvement. One of the guest said one evening, there was a bar downstairs. I thought this would be good to use, but it was locked, so I didn't bother.
Ok for a short break staff were lovely
Very old fashion and bit of a damp smell and no tv in the room
Well placed in Blackpool.
black satin sheets of dubious origin
Disgusting. Very dirty. Room hadnt been cleaned. Depressing and very run down. Doors banging all the time. Not a nice place to stay.
easy to find not far away from the sea
there was no shower in the room there was noises in the middle of night (people from upstairs banging)
Female Owner very friendly and accommodating. Very good price- clean and comfortable enough for the price that we paid. Lovely TV room with big comfortable Sofas. A group of 5 of us went to Blackpool for a birthday night out and wanted a cheap place to stay for one night. All we wanted was a clean place to rest out heads when we got in and so this hotel was perfect for that but for a holiday with a partner/family perhaps it wouldn't fit the bill!!
The bar was shut due to a leak. The male owner was not so friendly. Although I did not use the shared showers one of my friends did and she so it was a little dirty and not nice. Despite these three things for the price the hotel was perfect for us and we would go back again if we were ever staying in Blackpool again.
The location, helpful friendly staff.
Room cramped and in need of refurbishment. No tv in room.
Cheap! We had a room with our own private toilet and shower, all for a lot cheaper than other hotels in Blackpool. Great staff, cheap booze and a free pool table. The lady owner was even kind enough to wash (and iron!) my shirt after I spilt my drink on it as I'd forgot to bring any spare clothes. Very friendly owners, we'll be staying here again.
Staff with a great attitude and adjust their communicate with us..
Buck bed but it alright for few days..
clean friendly very helpfull
smoking in rooms
The room was cramped and dirty. Not even a television in the room. Just a shelf with an old ariel wire hanging from the wall. Also tiny and very cramped. I came home on the Saturday night to see a man sitting in the communal room in nothing but his underpants. HORRIBLE !!!
Very close to the town, Bar , pool table, Cheap and Cheerful, Lovely couple runs it, kettle / tea/ coffee.
Noisy, Parking 5 mins away £7:50 for 24h, no TV's in rooms
no parking facilities no tv in rooms no ice at bar no draught beer
In a great location (literally seconds away from the town centre and seafront). Very nice owners who made us feel very welcome.
Friendly staff very clean room excellent value for money
staff were really friendly and very helpful, gr8 place to stay!
The Price The Gig close to everything
What is there to say it's blackpool it's cheap maybe screw the bed together .
A very good location - near to the sea front.
The bathroom was not very clean. There was what looked like cat fur in two of the beds. There was a very musty smell around the corridors of the hotel.
