Location Walking distance from major sights. Staff Concierge service was extremely helpful
Liked the boutique feel, service was far better than in the big hotels
Rooms and beds very good. High quality of airconditioning. Very helpful staff.
WiFi is included, but you have to pay to get acceptable access speed.
- room very well fitted for single business traveller - location - bathroom
- room would be too small to be considered luxurious for a couple - breakfast (eggs benedict was not upto scratch)
Clean and comfortable hotel with very helpful and friendly staffs. Good location right opposite to St James station. Walkable to Westminster Abby, BigBen and etc.
Breakfast and Service at Breakfast. Room Air Condition blows directly at your face at night and no chance to change air stream direction. Terrible. Never again.
location & staff
very noisy staff , moving a lot beside the room , slamming exit doors violently .. making loud noise 24 hrs of the day & night ,, really couldn't sleep well !
This five star hotel is well situated for visiting Central London. The hotel is stylishly modern, the amenities good, the staff helpful, however based on our negative experience we will NOT return to this hotel..
Immediately on arrival we noticed that the bathroom sink leaked water all over the floor. After being fixed the sink then became blocked, thus not permitting water to be evacuated!!! Every time we took a shower water leaked from the shower area onto the bathroom floor making it wet, slippery and dangerous... As a mature couple we had asked for a quiet room, however for two nights the management saw fit to give us the doubtful pleasure of a group of noisy adolescents as immediate neighbours...The first night they dumped their shoes in the corridor outside our door treating the hotel more like a youth hostel than a five star hotel... They spent most of the late evening going from room to room shouting and slamming doors as they visited their friends... After asking them at 23 hours to be quiet I finally got very angry with them when they were still making a noise at midnight... An extra night at the hotel was billed at the exorbitant price of £516 (Sfr.789) without breakfast!!! Non merci. We will NOT return to this hotel!!!
The room situp and facility in the room
The breakfast in both restaurant was so limited no options
All above House keeping excellent
No instant coffee in bedroom No list of what was compliment
Staff were excellent, really high standard facilities especially rooms, great location and right next to tube station
No pool, breakfast although lovely took time to be served and was a little fussy.. But don't be put off by that ..excellent hotel!
Wonderful spacious room with every conceivable facility available. Quiet despite busy location. Sumptuous breakfast served in room with subtle lighting. What's not to enjoy?
I loved that the hotel was directly across from St. James Park Train Station and that if I chose to, I could walk a short distance and be in the middle of what's happening. We literally was within a 15 minute exciting walk to Buckingham Palace, the Eye, Parliament, Big Ben, and the River Thames. The tube was fantastic and easy to get to anywhere in a short time. The hotel was very accommodating. The concierge was very helpful in getting us tickets to attractions and was very knowledgeable. The restaurant and lounge was perfect. Loved the breakfast at Blue Boar restaurant and drinks in the Blue Boar Bar. The staff was amazing. The staff was always accommodating and thoughtful. It was so nice after a long day of touring to come back to the room with the beds turned down and a spotless room. Room service was right on time.
Very close to the Backingham Palace, but quiet and peaceful place. The room I stayed is not large, but clean and very confortable.
Waste baskets in rooms useless. They are way to small. Should stock green tea in room condiments
Made to feel very welcome. Wonderful clean decor & room. Free wifi in room. Aircon in room. Very comfortable beds. Telephone by the loo - very strange!!
The price of mini bar. Such a shame to keep seeing what I couldn't afford! Also the curtains appeared to have mechanical closing function but we couldn't find anything to close them with, so had to pull them very hard & hope for the best!
The Hotel is exceptionally well run and in a great location. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
A bit pricey , not so much for the rooms which are in line with other similar hotels but things like the laundry, at £12 per shirt I could double that and get buy new one!
Love the intercontinental hotel grouped have stayed in many of there hotels and are all amazing the services and staff are fantastic.
We could reach the main attractions by foot. Beautifull park 2 minute walk with amazing bird fauna. Victoria station is within walking distance for catching trains or coaches. We had very good time.
Suberb king size bed Quiet airco and room Very nice staff Very nice design of the room and hotel bar space Almost everything
Modest choice at breakfast (more appropriate to three stars hotel in continental Europe)
Lovely room, very quiet, plenty of space in the wardrobe, wonderful bath and shower. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff were very well trained and could not do enough for us. When we go to London again we will definitely stay at the Intercontinental Westminster.
Above all: the staff. They were exemplary and showed exactly what quality service means. Give 'em all a massive bonus! Secondly, the room was faultless. Everything functioned perfectly. The complimentary toiletries were so good that I went out and bought some for myself. Best air conditioning I have ever experienced. Thirdly, ambience. Very relaxing.
Close to nothing was disliked. I am not going to mention my one dislike because it would be futile nit-picking.
Fantastic location. Excellent customer service, very comfortable rooms with good A-C Transport links superb right opposite St James Park tube Stn Good quality very good with a served breakfast allowing guests to start the day off in a relaxed fashion - plenty of choice on menu. Lounge area serving afternoon tea very nice - particularly during the evening
