Location, very convenient for Legoland. Good sized family room with separate room/area for the kids
Waves leisure club - needs a good clean and re-fresh, kids pool was out of order and I. General I would class this area as 'grubby' Interior of hotel needs modernising, Rowan's restaurant and ground floor were ok but bedrooms just need some TLC
Loved the facilities, the Rowans restaurant, the Michael Buble tribute act and the nightclub.
There was a damp smell in the room that we had which was off putting and I also requested NO feather pillows/bedding. When we got into the room this was the first thing I checked, we had feather pillows. My friend has a feather allergy. Didnt really like the music in the nightclub.
We recently stayed at coppid beach hotel for 3 nights whilst visiting thorpe park. good hotel with friendly staff. Great breakfast and easy enough to visit local attractions from would stay again
Large rooms, helpful friendly staff. All areas of the hotel were very clean. Swimming pool is a good size
Hotel looking a little tired after being open nearly 20 years.
It is very dated indeed, back to the 80's
Fluffy robes, breakfast, quality of room service food was superb
Jacuzzi bath was a bit noisey when turned on
Helpful Staff, Breakfast,
Very beautiful place in great location but rooms need updating. Lots of charm and can see once upon a time it was great now it's needs a bit of renovating.
Room was quite cold despite being in summer.Hair dryers were very dated. A shame as it was a beautiful room. Wifi was very very slow.
The breakfast was great. Hotel & Staff were pleasant.
Beautiful hotel. Very helpful and friendly staff. Pool and facilities were great. I will be going back there again
Staying if coppid
Dinner service in the restaurant was awful - which was a Shame as the food was excellent. The waitress was unhelpful, bordering on rude. The waiter appeared to have no knowledge of how to serve wine (although he was very well mannered). I was surprised at the lack of professionalism in the service.
Room size Room segregation (separate area for kids) Breakfast Friendly staff (who treated the kids as guests)
Very friendly reception staff who booked as in quickly. Rooms very spacious and comfortable lovely touches like dressing gowns. WiFi worked very well. Good choice of food for breakfast and easy check-out procedure. Would recommend and stay again if in area.
room standard for price parking staff is nice good failities
The free wifi is a joke breakfast is a bit expensive the location does not allow to walk to shops or restaurants
We were traveling the English countryside by car and this was an ideal stop over for us before we returned to Heathrow for our flight out. Great value for money and very comfortable. Excellent meals and service was impeccable.
Leisure facilities Breakfast Staff Cleanliness
Has to pay for TV,
Family room was excellent, allowing everyone to have a great nights sleep! Super location for legoland
A little dated decor but this can be overlooked because all facilities are good
Spacious family room, comfortable beds. Staff were helpful and polite always.
Wi-Fi slow and inconsistent. Expensive meals for a family of five, and not a lot of other options in the area.
All of the staff were very pleasant and only too happy to help. The breakfast buffet was very good. At times it became congested with the families and the food became messy. The lounge bar was great to have a drink and munchies. The Gym was good, the pool a little outdated. The Bier Keller was an excellent venue to watch a live band. Did not even venture to the Nite club but no doubt that would be another great venue. Overall, the décor of the Coppids Beech is outdated and needs modernizing. Would definitely return and stay at the Coppids Beech again.
We were next to the fire doors and another room so could hear the neighbours. No concierge to help with the luggage when we arrived. Overall nothing else we could complain about.
location cost availability free parking power shower air conditioning friendly staff reasonable breakfast
décor of hotel is very dated and bathrooms especially poor state of repair. hotel needs a revamp to brighten it up and fix broken things. main restaurant fairly expensive. needs exterior cleaning
Outer design of hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. The full-English!
Faded and jaded - needs a substantial makeover inside. Rooms look out over car parks or filling station or busy road junction. If it's 'free' wifi you're offering, don't have us fiddle-faddling with log-in pages that take user-details.
Very comfortable - all requirements met
overall could do with a refurb - but civil weddings could foot that bill in the long term. Rather dark overall. Marion Morgan (Superintendent Registrar. Ret)
The bed wasn't very comfortable
