Good value, comfortable
One hairdryer didn't work, bathroom dryer not good - they should provide modern hairdryers Not many plug sockets & none near the bed Wifi free but very slow
I am using crutches at the moment and found the staff in the bar and restaurant more than helpful. The room was more than adequate for my needs and the bed was comfortable.
because of my situation I would have liked a shower rather than a bath with over tap one and although my room was tidied the dirty cups were not replaced.
Very slow WiFi unless you paid for an upgrade! Kellar Bar was devoted to showing televised football and so was unusable for a relaxed drink and light food
Room size Swimming pool Food
No realy negative but the matress was realy thick and quilt too thick for me.
Free wifi Use if swimming pool area Fish tanks are cool Plenty of parking Cheap room rates Quirky looking hotel
Bar and club is for 25s and over only. Rooms ,swimming pool area are looking a little tired now but that's more if a cosmetic thing. Breakfast and dinner are expensive but isn't it always.
Staff were very helpful. Swimming pool was lovely. Huge family room.
Arranged cots for twin babies, high chairs in restaurant, all done without fuss. The pool as also enjoyed by the babies so a great end to our holiday.
One lift not working, the other particularly slow.
Reception area is lovely with a bar and comfy seating. The breakfast was excellent. Lots of choices and service was very quick. Our room was large and airy and very quiet.
The pillows were like rubber bullets! I expect we could have had them changed, but we didnt ask, as it was very late when we went to bed!
The bedroom was very good, with a extremely comfy bed. The buffet breakfast was very good with a good selection of food.
A member of staff on two occasions cleared our table when we went to get our food at breakfast. I therefore had to ask for another cup, pot of tea and milk. "A little too keen to clear up!"
Hotel overall and excellent breakfast
Bathroom needs updating, antiquated shower ,difficult to control resulting in boiling hot water scalding skin.
Attitude of some staff
Great room, good staff. great breakfast what more do you need. a great stop over to visit family in the area
Wifi signal was good. Reception staff were polite, reception area beautiful, building is stunning. Very convenient location
Poor cleanliness, lots of dust, grubby and old fashioned. Cigarette buts outside window, smelled of smoke. Not enough towels or toiletries, fridge didn't work. Grubby bedding. Very old furniture. Spa filthy, jacquizzi out of order, gym showers filthy. Breakfast was buffet, food cold and in edible, automatic toaster cremated the bread, breakfast staff very unfriendly
The help and support we received, particularly from Katie Mayger, and Veronica Quijalvo. My daughter, myself and 2 bridesmaids got ready at the hotel ahead of my daughters wedding at a local church. We had lovely rooms, and excellent service. Thanks!
The very warm/hot corridors!
Nice place to stay, good rooms.helpful staff.
Good size rooms, comfy bed. Breakfast was excellent.
Lack of towels.
Family room was good size although would have been better if the kids area had an doors to partition it off as opposed to curtains. Breakfast was a decent offering. Pool was clean and not too busy. Staff were friendly and efficient. Overall we all very much enjoyed our stay.
Bathrooms and pool area starting to get a bit rundown. Room lighting was not great. Even felt dark during the day with all lights on.
Efficient reception staff nice food in Rowans
The lift needs attention
Cold showers I'm the morning!
Location is handy for business
Pricey, cracked tiles in bathroom, no hot water in the morning, one lift not working
pool great sauna great steam room great
food! bred gastly all gastly- breafast
We loved are night and would come again
Large double rooms. Friendly staff. Very clean.
The leisure facilities were average. The steam room temperature was quite low, as was the sauna. The location is average, and getting to a local shop for supplies is quite difficult without driving for 10 minutes. That aside it's a very good looking and comfortable hotel.
Location, very convenient for Legoland. Good sized family room with separate room/area for the kids
Waves leisure club - needs a good clean and re-fresh, kids pool was out of order and I. General I would class this area as 'grubby' Interior of hotel needs modernising, Rowan's restaurant and ground floor were ok but bedrooms just need some TLC
