staff were helpful The leisure facilities were poor and run down. I had to walk through the middle of a dining area where people were sat eating to get to my room. The hotel is in need of some serious refurbishments. |

Sports Bar with big sreens nice touch - although no cell phone signal as this bar is downstairs. Lots of parking Wlan not available in bedrooms unless you upgrade to a superior room + you still had to pay for the service. Poor !!!! Based on this I would not stay in this hotel again if travelling on business |

the spa was convenient on the hotel site for a relaxing massage and staff helpful/friendly and food of good standard in the restaurant The jacuzzi was unusable as empty and a notice explaining why would be better than just leaving it this way as gives the impression of the hotel not being maintained. There were lots of what looked like large plant potting areas along the corridoors of the hotel, and one just outside our room but none of these had plants in which looked again a bit unmaintained. A maid entered our room around 8.30 in the morning without knocking and walked out quickly without comment. I know we had not put our notice up "do not disturb" but were still a little surprised to have someone walking in and then making a quick exit! |

Staff very helpful and friendly. Hotel & room clean. Food nice and plentiful. Decor dated and a bit shabby in places. Gym and pool area could do with refurb. Both bar areas were ok but expensive. |

i wasn't at the hotel for long as we arrived at 10.30pm and were due to leave for the airport at 5am the next morning. The staff were polite. We were kept waiting a little time to have our web reservation confirmed so the nice man behind the desk upgraded our roon... i loved the massive bed and private balcony.....i'd stay there again as an overnighter to gatwick airport. |

It was a good location for Gatwick and was a clean and comfortable room Service in the restaurant was slow and the food quite pricey for what it was. It wasn't until we checked in that we found the airport shuttle stopped at a certain time and also that we had to pay for it. I do not think this was upfront on the booking information. |

Relax and scenic envioronment is perfect for mature people. Hotel staff are very friendly and approachable. Checking in and out is always efficient. The room temperature can be very warm during the summer although the provision of a fan is helpful. Recommend intallation of airconditioning units. |
