Lovely view from room
Very busy a breakfast, long wait to be seated
Good position for the Christmas market.
Not enough bathroom towels.
Perfect base to stay and central to the market. Staff and facilities were excellent. We are already looking to book for next year.
Quiet stay even though right in the heart of the city Lovely breakfast included in price of room Highly recommend :)
Location, food and service
room was a bit small
Excellent location and very good value for money for a quality room
Room v hot and couldn't have window open as too noisy. Even with radiators turned off stayed v warm all night
We asked for a high floor quiet room and that is exactly what we had, the reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
There wasn't anything I didn't like except the hotel looked a little tired, but all in all a very pleasant stay.
Hotel included parking, which can sometimes be a issue in the middle of a city. Excellent Location, couldn't have been closer to the city centre. The Hotel Staff were very polite.
Nothing negative to say about the hotel
Location, breakfast waitress very helpful
Receptionist on arrival did not appear to know what a Club Room entitled us too, ( drinks and snack voucher, wifi code) didn't ask if we had been before, just gave us the room key, we had to ask where to go, where breakfast was served. the room was too warm, but could not open the window due to road noise, bath room light blown, not sure the extractor fan working either
Worn carpets Dirty walls Damaged furniture
location, room facilities.
Location for the German Market and the shops was great
The bed was extremely uncomfortable and caused us to roll together and the springs were very noisy
Bathroom needed updating and standard light did not work so made the room dreary
Location of hotel great for the shops, concert halls , parking ,
It was all fine just the place has a tad old bathroom with dark lightening but it's a minor problem.
Noise at night
Loved the Glass Teapots and Teacups!! Loved the Bathroom floor tiles!! Location was perfect!! Overall a pleasant stay!
The rooms, although clean and tidy looked very dated although we understand that a refurb would not be practical under the circumstances. Shower in one room was difficult to use and one of the TV's didn't work.
The hotel was in a prime location for the Xmas markets & with the rear entrance open such long hours for hotel guests, we were able to come & go as we pleased. Our room wasn't ready for us on our arrival, but the staff on duty allowed us to leave our bags at reception so we were able to go out & familiarise ourselves with the area knowing our luggage was safe.
Only two small points; felt the decor was a bit dated & our room was so hot in the night we were uncomfortable.
1)Cold water not working - had to call maintenence - made me late for a company dinner. 2)Booked a double vroom - Double was 2 singles pushed together - Bad night sleep. 3)Paid Wifi in advance - had to keep calling reception to get new code - very inconvenient. 4)No shower gel or soap in room
Cleaners banging on your door and walking in at 8am..checkout isn't till 11am sort it out
The shower wasn't the best, hard to get consistent temp on the water.
Convenience of the location for the Symphony Hall gig The staff. Great people,
The bed (like sleeping on a brick). The room (way too hot-no temperature controls). The self-service breakfast (simply dreadful). Parking, You have to pay for it and it's a lottery getting a space.
Good location, all mod cons, not too pricey
Breakfast and evening meal were both pretty dull; decor rather dated now
Everything about the hotel, comfort, service, staff, location and food.
Decor need touching up.
