Great location for all central amenities and attractions. Close to train station and an abundance of places to eat and drink. |

Friendly, helpful staff. Good quality food and comfortable bed in a clean room. this hotel desperately need to update its guest rooms. They are not a good standard and personally I would put them at 2-3 star quality. I almost felt conned because the lobby is 4 star luxury...then you go upstairs! I took one look at the shower and thought 'no thanks'. |

This is our second time staying here in the last 4 months. Perfect located hotel near to the City centre. Friendly staff too The only downside is the showers. On both occassions the shower heads were faulty and were like using garden hoses |

Double bed was especially comfortable At reception on arrival when a wedding reception was on, several children were playing the piano. This was very annoying as the tune was chopsticks (only) and it was relentless. The receptionist told us it had been going on all night. I think this should have been stopped so as not to annoy other guests. Possibly because the receptionist was stressed, he gave us our key card, which when we opened the room, was actually in use by other guests. The fridge has now been replaced by a chiller which is only useful if your goods are already cold. I booked through Bookings.com which still advertises all rooms have fridges. |

We have stayed with you twice and found the rooms to be very clean and well equipped, and on each occasion you have honoured our request of a low floor room. We also like the location as it is close to all amenities. We are returning again in December and hope we will have another pleasant stay with you. |

A superbly situated hotel both for the excellent shopping but also for the entertainment heart of the city. The staff were extremely helpful and their advice on local restaurants was spot on. The evening meal in the restaurant was good quality and the service 1st class. We will stay there again in the future. I felt that the cost of breakfast in the room was expensive and would not use that alternative again. Especially as nearby restaurants give a full breakfast fro 1/3 the cost. This was the only pick up point of an otherwise excellent visit. |

Location excellent and hotel clean and restaurant food really goo. We booked a twin room in January but when we checked in on 3rd October they said they had overbooked and we had to go to 2 separate rooms which we didn't like at all. Plenty staff but no customer service really. |

the proximity to NIA which we were attending for a show. Wouls come again to go to cafe's by the canals. Hotel was very convenient. If we came back to Birmingham we would certaily look at it again. The bedrooms wre a little tired. Decor could do with smartening up. Although it was not cold, there was no sign of any heating coming on that we could manage ourselves i.e. to turn on or off if we needed it. |

Some of the staff were charming and helpful, especially in the bar. It's great being able to step straight out into a buzzing city centre. Waited too long by the chain to be admitted to the car park. Guy came over eventually and said nothing - does any one offer to carry cases any more? |

Friendly and helpful staff on reception. Nice bar/restaurant area. They forgot my early morning alarm call. Unfortunately, I had an unpleasant neighbour who had the tv on loudly until 2.00am - ignored my requests to turn it down, but reception managed to contact him successfully. Appreciate this is not the hotels fault but shows the lack of soundproofing to the rooms. |

My wife and I stayed at the hotel in conjunction with a concert at the NIA. The hotel provided everything we needed for our trip and is ideally situated for the NIA. |

Staff were very pleasant, location ideal for central Birmingham. Bathrooms need updating, plumbing very noisy, no ventilation. Air con would have made our stay more comfortable as it was far too noisy to have windows open. |

We liked the proximity to the shops and to the nia. If only the Andrea Boccelli concert had not been cancelled it would have been perfect. |
