Sotto certi aspetti, specialmente nelle camere, ha un'aria un po' decadente, ma tutto è comunque funzionale.

full English breakfast was appalling, plates and food cold: would have complained but needed to catch train, only ate in one day out of 3

The location is excellent and the breakfast really good value for money. The staff are pleasant and helpful.

The room looked as if it needed some refurbishment. The bath panel was cracked and repaired. The bottom of the bath was marked. The wallpaper on the wood above the bed was torn.

The location was ideal for my stay. The staff were always polite and courteous. The hotel was comfortable and the rooms were clean and the beds cozy. When I arrived the hotel carpark was full. The Concierge directed me to the multi storey carpark nearby, his instructions were clear and I was able to park without any problems..thank you for your help young man, you were brilliant. The fire alarm went off early next morning. The staff were well drilled in the fire routine, directed guests to safety and kept us informed of what was going on. The emergency was soon over and guests returned safely to the hotel. There was no panic and everything went smoothly. Thank you for looking after us so well.

Within walking distance of train station. Pleasant restaurant with attentive staff.

Paper thin walls so could hear every word neighbours said. Woken up at 2am and 4am when they returned. Road traffic very intrusive..my room was next to a 4 lane busy route. Non stop traffic all night. Poor nights sleep due to this.

Convenient distance from Birmingham Symphony Hall, the NIA and Bull Ring

Very attentive and polite staff, esp late night barman, good facilities in a good city location.

Some of the decor beginning to feel a little old fashioned, would be helpful to have a pedestrian sign post at front door as easy to get lost walking away.

I thought the hotel was quite dated compared to other hotels I have stayed at recently. Bathroom seemed to have a smell of drainage and tiles/taps were not up to standard. Definitely needs refitting!I did not read previous reviews as Copthorne is a large chain and I anticipated would be good standard so felt slightly let down.

Decor in bathroom pretty taudry no flannels v expensive brakfast and I only wanted cereal ?possible to have 2 types /2 prices?
