Cheap room rate

Sauna out of order steam room not working properly and many seats cracked/out of use.nothing a minor re furb wouldnt sort out though.Breakfast cost £15.00 seems silly when tescos over the road cost £4.20 for full breakfast.

Cheap (£52 for a night). Good size. Excellent leisure facilities - I chose it because of the pool.

Limited menu because of refurbishment. Breakfast too expensive for me to eat here.

I would have preferred to have known that the hotel kitchen and dinning area was closed, but was still able to get food. The bed was so comfortable I overslept.

Very nice and pleasant hotel. We had a very good time We enjoyed very much our stay there. We absolutely recommend this hotel Also, a good location for all attractions of Cardiff.

The location was the best thing

Ththe resturant was closed. It was full with loud football fans in the bar watching ans shouting at the footbal game on the tv screens. The staff did nothing to stop it.

good location if you have a car. Nice pool

TV in the room was too old

I must confess to have enjoyed everything with regards to my stay at the Hotel.

The only crit I might have is the poor directions and signage leading motorists to the hotel. Sat Nav does not identify the hotel as it took me down to Barry. You should improve the signage and update your details on Sat Nav.

Copthorne is in a great location - close to City, Airport and major roads. the hotel is always clean and staff give great service and are happy to help. thanks

Everything was as promised on the booking form. The room was spacious and quiet.

Slightly outdated facilities in the room eg. TV sparse complimentary products eg. soap, biscuits Sagging mattress

I never want to stay in room 428 again. All night we had to put up with loud buzzing/vibrating noise. It was impossible to get a good nights sleep

Comfort/relaxing

Wouldnt serve me at bar after midnight without having left debit/credit card at recp on check in . Only wanted nightcap, didnt think I would be using hotel bar when checked in. Tough not on bar listing no drink. Barstaff seemed like just wanted to get home early.Big fuss about nothing, had shared bottle of wine from bar prior to midnight. If you want drink from bar after midnight make sure you know it days in advance.

With impressive setting and wonderful outlook of the lakethis hotel is both luxurious and friendly. The feeling of relaxation is paramount and the bar area is one where all walks of life can feel relaxed and enjoy reasonably priced drinks.didnt try restaurant,but it looks like i ought to in the future.recommend to anyone..and curtesy bus to/from game was a touch of class and great comfort to all who used it.

It was no different to the other Copthorne Hotels we have stayed at. We expected it to be clean, welcoming etc ie what any mormal person would expect of a hotel. It was, and was therefore average.Since you do not give a midle button above I have scored it fair.
