Copthorne Hotel London Gatwick  

Very friendly, nice atmosphere, excellent bar and breakfast room. Rooms clean and bright. Staff could not be more helpful.

Needs a bit of tlc, refurbishment. The spa should be upgraded and better maintained. VERY thin walls between rooms which meant not a good night sleep. No shower gel included..

Large comfortable rooms

I booked because of closesness to london gatwick , however the transfer bus route had changed from my last stay and the journey was much longer , because of that I won't use the hotel again

I thought the Copthorne hotel was very good value for money. I really liked the size of our room which was large and homely. I liked the oldy worldy feel in the main part of the hotel and the individual feel which you don't get in the large chain hotels I often stay in. It was great to have the use of the pool and gym included. Also the food was good and the staff were excellent. I would definitely use this hotel again if I needed to stay in the area again.

i found the hotel very relaxing

how ever i was most discusted when we arrived back late ,on useing the ladies loo it was like a gruby pub toilet had i not been there in the day time and seen it was cleal my opinion of the hotel would have been very low

Very comfy bed and food in restaurant was excellant

Thought rooms looked tired and dated but were clean

Polite staff, a comfy room and all in a very attractive and convenient location. We have stayed before and will stay again at the right price.

Air-conditioning would have been a bonus.

Hotel rooms could do with a re-furb! Large old style tv on a bracket supported by numerous extension cables as you enter room! Lighting was poor; others in our group reported faults with lights! Rooms were very cramps and although were clean, it felt grotty!

It was very well located for a business meeting, the staff were efficient and the room was excellent.

The car park barrier did not work and I did not see the button to press so had to return to the reception desk.

Quiet relaxing and pleasant

We felt it unecessary to charge for parking and this should not be in the small print online

Very noisy out side air con unit by our window had to keep the windows shut thus a very hot room la fitness poor very poor no locks for lockers staff didnt seem to worried

Staff were friendly and attentive, rooms were clean and a good standard.Good leisure facilities. Only stayed for 1 night but would go back

Not a lot, we shall not be staying there again.

We had problems the last time we stayed at this hotel but decided to give it another go. We requested a room with twin beds and were given a double. We asked to be moved to a twin room because that is what we had requested and there was no heating in the room we had been allocated (the radiator wasn't working). We were moved straight away to a twin but the heating was not working in this room either, we were provided with an electric heater. One of the problems on our last stay had been the heating and it has not been fixed. We won't be going back.
