My husband and I enjoyed the country atmosphere of the hotel. As we were there awaiting a plane back to the U.S. we were able to rest and relax totally. We walked the gardens and felt we had our own manor house. Food was quite good and the staff very helpful. |

Beautiful location, play area for chidren, friendly atmosphere, selection of evening meals was good, I think the breakfasts were too expensive for anybody with children. I would like to take both my children with me on my next trip but 15 pounds each is unreasonable, especially if the children are young. |

Very little Bedrooms were very smelly - they smelled of stale urine and were hot as the air conditioning was not working. No safe in room. The bedrooms were also very noisy in that we could hear every sound from the next bedroom and consequently got no sleep. The a la carte restaurant was closed and a private wedding reception meant that access to the bar and a place to sit was very difficult. Courtesey transport to the airport was £3 per person each way so not really courtesey transport at all but it did not start until 5.05am so we had to hire our own taxi anyway. |

We have been coming to this hotel for the last 10 years and this is the worst it has ever been. The food has gone down hill rapidly ie choice, quality and quantity. I don't think we will be comong back. |

Principally it was the closeness to Gatwick along with the car parking facility. However there are many hotels offering this service but I believe that yours suits me best. |

I enjoyed the king club room very much! Also i liked the fact that we had included the acces of the spa centre. The overall athmosphere of the hotel amazing. The fact that the restaurant closed at 9.30 PM.But the pub was still open and the food was great so i think it compensated. |

The king size bed was amazing, we also had a spa bath in our room which was a plesent surprise. The hotel was very clean, and the food excellent. The jucuzzi wasn't working. |

We were very dissaponted with our stay for the following reasons. A bottle of house wine was £18.95 ( cheapest ) The room menu was very restricted and on ordering a beef salard sandwich which was pityfull and cost £13.00 served with ecomony bread and a wafer thin slice of beef ( Tesco's would not even sell a sandwich of this quality , let alone £13. |

Setting was lovely, beautiful gardens, and convenient to the airport. Choice of bar areas also good - general layout of the hotel is interesting. Plenty of parking too. Room was jaded and corridors smelt fusty. There was a buffet on offer in the main restaurant - not tempting - a bit canteen like. |

We stayed in room 313, & it was a lovely start to our holiday. The room was extremely spacious, and it was a pleasure to stay at the Copthorne. We had some traditional food in the pub area of the hotel, & afterwards sat outside. The perfect beginning for our holiday! |

Staying regularly at this hotel, I like the English countryside style of the hotel - although very close to the airport a feeling peace and quiet,... great place. |

The service was very poor, staff not particularly friendly and don't think I received one smile which after all costs nothing!!! Had to change rooms as heating was stuck on and room like a sauna and the lady who dealt with it was the only one who gave remotely decent service. We all assumed the bus to and from the Terminal was complimentry but there is a 3 pound charge each way which was not made clear at time of booking. Although amount small the principal........ |
