Very good transport links to Manchester city centre.Reception staff very accomadating. Some good local shopping. Ther was a system in place to charge £25 per day as security for the minibar. We refused to pay this amount & had to insist that any purchases had to be added to the final account. |

Lovely hotel. The room had a great view and was very clean. The themostat in the shower was broken. It was not possible to have a shower but this was taken care of with a reduced rate. |

Hotel was well priced and well located. Staff were very pleasant and facilities on offer were fine. Would be nice to get direct access to the Quays, rather than having to walk right round the hotel from the main entrance. |

The man at reception was very welcoming and remembered us the next day which was nice. The bed was comfortable. The price we paid was low as it was a promotional rate so if you need to be near this area is worth it, but wouldn't stay here for full price due to the overall dated feel. The bathroom was dated and smelt a bit damp / of mildew, but to be fair to the staff was clean. |

The size of the room was better than expected. The room was well decorated. An excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. The bathroom tiles looked a bit aged and had been regrouted poorly. |

The beds are comfortable and the price paid was excellent, as it was booked so far in advance ( £50.40). The decor in the rooms is very tired, particularly the bathroom. The bath enamel is past its best. The hotel management allowed drilling to take place at 1am, as a guest room had a faulty lock. The noise surrounding this issue lasted over an hour. I would have thought that a door would have been able to be opened much more quickly than this and with less noise. If not, perhaps the guest could have been offered another room until the morning? Tv reception for bbc channels was very poor. |

The hotel is very close to the Manchester United Football ground and perfect for a visit there, but slightly more isolated for other attractions. However, there is a tram station very close by, which takes you into the centre of Manchester. Bus and tram maps would be useful. The hotel was clean and comfortable and accommodation was excellent value for money. Breakfast was expensive, but we were given a half price voucher to cover one day of our two day stay. |

The hotel was ok but rather off the beaten track and further from the Lowry gallery than I had expected. The room was too hot! |

there was a lot of noise during the early horus as there had been a pink concert on. We weren't advised of this at the time of booking of checking in. Also, I could nto work the TV. The key to my room did not work initially. |

The heavilly discounted online rate - the advertised full rates would have been on the expensive side for what the hotel has to offer. The hotel seemed to be understaffed, particularly at busy periods in the bar & reception areas. |

We liked the friendly staff, the food was of a good standard and the location was exactly what we needed as we walked to OldTrafford We stayed in one of the quayside rooms, as we hade done on a previous visit, but this time we heard a lot of noise from the function rooms as we were on the ground floor. |
