It had a cool window seat/alcove you could sit in and read. Firstly, when I got back to the hotel from my work event, I went to order a 24hour item on the room service menu, but no one answered after ringing for about 10 minutes. When I went downstairs to ask the front desk if there was anywhere to eat, they said I had been calling the wrong number, that because was after hours I should have been calling the front desk instead. There is no where on the menu that indicates this, so I was a bit shocked that the front desk staff treated me a bit like an idiot for not knowing this information) especially when after they said that the room service number was actually supposed to be forwarded to the front desk. A small microwave pizza (the only thing on the menu besides sandwiches) cost me £10, took 40 minutes to arrive and was actually worse than any microwave pizza I have bought in a shop. In general, the front desk staff was nice enough, but they put a single business traveller (me) beside a full room of holiday goers who decided to start a party at 2am. Of course once I finally drifted off, one of the housekeeping staff decided to walk into my room at 8:30 am without knocking. Now, with a check out time of 12:00, why is the housekeeping staff starting to clean occupied rooms at 8:30 am (on a saturday morning)? To make matters worse, when I finally got back to sleep, the housekeeping staff came back at 10:30 and decided to shout at each other between rooms for an hour and a half, despite the "do no disturb" sign on my door. Doesn't that usually mean people are still sleeping? The housekeeping seemed to think it meant they don't have to clean that room so they left their cart outside my door and proceeded to bang about and shout to each other until I left. I can say because of this inconsideration, there is no way I would stay here again.

The location was good for our needs and we didn't have to drive into city as we were beside tram station. Reception staff except one male were unhelpful. Booked double room and had to have twin room. Internet is not free and extremely slow. Hotel is rather tired looking needs decorated.

The location of the hotel was ideal for the event we had visited the city for. I know that football match day's are more expensive at your hotel but the standard of the room which was very tired looking didn't match the price we paid. The only reason I would recommend the hotel is it's proximity to Old Trafford.

The room looked out over the water in the old docks which was very pleasent and was handy to walk to "The Lowry" for the Theatre. The room was looking a little tired and the Television needs updating for a 4 star hotel. The breakfast whilst pricy was very good and the selection excelent Not too cheery welcome at the reception although on the following morning during check out better. The main gripe is the cost of getting on the Internet. A staggering £12 in the room and £5 outside (reason one, privacy but real reason more income to the hotel chain. Really this should be free in public areas to allow those with laptops and tablets to connect.

Good location for getting to the business office. Good free and plentiful parking facilities. Large and comfortable rooms. No free Wi-Fi. Usage charges are excessive for such a business orientated hotel.

Close to the Old Trafford Stadium and free parking. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was a good size. No free Wifi in the rooms. Tv was very outdated Bed was a drop down, temporary type and we were not informed of this at the time of booking. Tea & Coffee were adequate, but close to their expiry date. Food in restaurant was overpriced for the quality and quantity served.

Great location for the tram service into city centre The room we were given was a disabled access room on the ground floor, no surface to put things in bathroom. We were asked if we minded a ground floor room, which we didn't, but it was not explained that facilities would not be standard room ones.

Staff were really nice and the hotel was in a perfect location for what we were in Manchester for. We arrived a few hours early but reception was very accomodating and booked us in straight away. Used room service for dinner and the food was lovely as was Andy the lad that brought it to us. The room was a little 'tired' - still okay value for money.

It was close for us to get to manchester united match There was no entertainment at night so we had to go else where, we would of been happy enough to sit in the bar and listen to someone singing or just music playing

Good location for anyone going to the football at Old Trafford. Comfortable room, good breakfast and good value overall. The bar was inadequately staffed. One person serving on a Friday night is not enough and we just left without being served eventually.

All Staff, including Housekeeping were very friendly and extremely helpful on arrival and throughout our stay. Our double room was large and decorated to a high standard - everything available that was needed. Our bedroom carpet was clean, however, think it needs to be replaced very soon as there are some well worn areas - hessain backing should not be in view. (Room 412)

Location The orignal price of room was £168 reduced to £43. this does not reflect the room given.it was not worth £43.the furniture was very old the room was cold, there was not any faclity to make tea or coffee in the room.bathroom and tv was old fashioned.there was no gowns in the bath room.when I asked for ice cubes the machine was not working.this room could not be worth for £168.

The only reason I stayed here was because I got 3 nights b&b for just £135. Brilliant deal. This is because the hotel was empty and I got a last minute deal. The room size was good. Furniture ok. Nice view over the Quay. Breakfast was plentiful. Décor a bit dated. Bedroom furniture tired. Old styled box tv. Even though the hotel was fairly empty still a fair bit of noise from the corridor late at night with people talking and banging bedroom doors. I could even here the room above me running the bath and their body squeaking around in it!!! Reception staff need to learn to smile. If I had paid full price here I would not have been happy at all.

The front of house staff were excellent! The bed was great and my boy slept well in the cot provided. The purpose of the visit was to watch a Man u game so location was excellent. To be honest the bathroom was massively dissapointing- the toilet seat was cracked and broke the next day, there was fluff in the corners under the basins and the tiles look like they came out of the ark. The interior of the room is also very dated along with the hair dryer, and tables/side tables all chipped and could do with a re varnish. And some one needs to clean out behind the radiatiors in 325!! quite gross whats behind there.
