nice and luxurious, comfortable bed

only 4 tv channels worked very poorly, had club room next to lift which was noisy all night

The Copthorne has always had a friendly feel. The reception staff are always welcoming and amiable. The rooms are always very clean on arrival, and are kept clean during your stay. The toiletries are of good quality with ample quantity.

We had to wait quite a while for a drink from the bar, even though there were very few people in this area.

Close proximity to Shopping Centre. friendliness of all the staff. Effecient check in

No airconditioning in the bedroom. Ironing board, iron and dirty glasses left in the hallway on floor 3 for over 24 hours and not cleared away. Possibly the cleaner for that section may not have turned up for work as the cleaner for our rooms was very helpful and efficient and our part of the hallway was clear.

Overall presentation and location

We had two evening meals, one of which was excellent and one of which provided the worst sirloin steak I have ever eaten. Unfortunately I ate nthe steak rather than return it although I did complain when asked if our meals were satisfactory. No discount was offered for the poor meal but I think that reflected the inexperienced staff rather than management policy

we didn't like the fact that we didn't want to see the singer that night but couldn't hear ourselves talk in the bar because he was so loud

I loved the comfy bed and the bathroom was lovely.

Took 20 minutes to get served at the bar .. Because staff seem to ignore us ... The room was dusty and noisy ... Plumbing noise was unbearable ... Doors banging all night ... Water pipes banging all night .. No sleep ..

We loved everything! It was lovely Very comfy bed, very warm with nice hot heating and lovely bathroom! Weatherspoons across the bridge for brekky and merry hill shopping for a little spending! Pizza Hut across the road and we did a 10 min drive to a harvester. It was my partners birthday and we really enjoyed every minute! We booked on booking.com and got 3 nights for £176 but it should be £150 per night so definately a bargain to find.

Food prices in the hotel, but we went out every night.

I really enjoyed my stay as I'd stayed here last year, We was greated by the receptionist who was very friendly and polite, upon entering our room, was blown away by how beautifully presented it was and loved the view from our hotel room, it was warm and cosy. The bed was comfy and the pillows were well fluffed up, the shower area and sink was very clean and well presented. Breakfast was very nice and was delivered to our hotel room by a very polite receptionist who made me aware that it was very heavy and to be careful, the breakfast was well worth the money. Upon our leaving we was greated and asked if we enjoyed our stay and have us our receipt and told us to have a nice day all the time smiling. We will be coming again as we really enjoyed the whole experience..

We liked the fact it was very quite, didn't hear any noise, even the cleaners were quite had no idea they was there. And also how friendly the place was.
