Location was great! Too hot and couldn't open windows and air-con broken. They did move us to a much nicer room after 1st night. This had patio doors we could open. I personally think the hotel needs up-dating. Health spa very nice. |

The hotel was a disappointment. To have a south facing, hermetically sealed room in June with non-functioning air conditioning in, I gather, quite a number of rooms as well as my own made for an unpleasant stay. Further, the fridge wasn't working; the wash basin plug mechanism was defective; the steam iron was incapable of holding water. Do you never check these things, or merely rely on your guests to report their discomfort? The first part of my stay, as part of a group (Select Tours), exposed me to ridiculously slow service every evening in the restaurant. A forty minute wait for the starter and a similar wait for the main course is not accecptable. The fact that the main courses were of a very indifferent quality is probably down to the price deal that was offered to the group's organisers, as food quality improved in the second part of my stay, not as a group member. |

Large,comfortable room overlooking the river. Good leisure facilities.Very convenient location,close to shops and quayside restaurants and bars. Having to wait 30 minutes for places in restaurant,but no communication from reception about possible delays. Having to pay for the car parking,not too expensive,but should be free in a hotel of this quality. |

The hotel is perfectly situated on the quayside with excellent views. If breakfast is required it is extra and expensive. |

First night bar meal excellent fish and chips.Good service too! Room furniture...only one comfy chair. Parking charges listed at lower cost in room info than actual charge levied. |

Friendliness of the staff was very good, great location and ample parking which were the main reasons for staying with you When my friend arrived at the hotel, he found the room that we had booked for him to be dirty which is unacceptable. We were subsequently upgraded to better quality, clean rooms and received an apology from you which was very good service. |

Rooms were nice, hotel very clean. Bed was very small for such a large room. Check in time of 2pm very late. When booking I asked if I could check in earlier (due to early flight times) but I got no reply to my request and when we go to the hotel it was no, 2pm, no exceptions. They could've been more helpul and if possible accomodating. I would've paid extra to check in earlier. |

The hotels central location, good access (easy walking distance) for shopping, resturants, clubs, and interesting features/history of the city. The hotel setting, the views over the river, very pleasant. The hotel room especialy the onsuite was very tired, well worn out, and way past it's "due for decoration" date. Fixture & fittings tarnished & stained with time. |

good service and very polite staff, however, with breakfast not included in price and a hefty £15 pounds and over per person this was the only thing that was a little offputting. A breakfast for under £10.00 may be the way forward to persuade more people to part with their cash at the hotel as opposed to going to local cafes for a breakfast. |
