great location and friendly staff will continue to visit especially when offers available
Price was good for two night stay. Great central location. Close to the university if you are dropping off or visiting your kids
Room size, bed comfort, ceiling fan, staff pleasantness
Window seals ineffective therefore room noisy at night
Nice hotel, friendly staff, really comfortable beds and a good breakfast.
Food in restaurant was excellent as was the waitress service
Décor very outdated and drab. Bed sagged in the middle and the second bed in the room had hairs on it - Internet expensive and intermittent; had to speak to technician to get it working, TV signal kept breaking up. Overall would prefer to stay in a Premier Inn
The location was good, the staff were helpful.
The room was dated and smelt of smoke due to being located over the entrance to the bar, people outside smoking meant smoke came into the room.
Very close to the university.
Breakfast was very poor ! As was the evening meal .
Location was good
Hotel is tired but this seems to be the norm in Plymouth I would struggle to highly recommend any hotel in Plymouth they are all much the same
Staff were amazing but Rooms could do with update
Food was excellent - really good menu.
The windows were filthy. The bathroom door handle was hangin off. No information in rooms about meal times or leaving times. No instructions on how to use the tv.
Closeness to University campus/shops/Barbican/Hoe. Ceiling fan in room. Large comfortable room. Staff politeness
Double-glazed windows useless due to large air gaps all around windowframes where seals should be - so very noisy at night. Courtesy biscuits would have been welcome too.
Location - near the station Clean room and bathroom Was checkin
Breakfast wasn't included in the price The breakfast itself (paid separately) wasn't of the quality I expected
Nice staff and very good breakfast.
Needs redecorating - all a bit 1980's.
Good Base to travel from.
All staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good with lots to choose from, also staff were very helpful. Rooms were clean and tidy, bed comfortable. A very pleasant overnight stay that made our daughter's graduation day very enjoyable.
The room was clean and comfortable
Hotel is too close to a very busy road. Traffic noise was horrendous and couldn't sleep because of it. Also could clearly hear people passing under our window and having a conversation on their mobile phone.
Clean quiet comfortable room Handy location
We couldn't find and then could get in the carpark as there was a wedding and it was freshers week at the uni, so parked in Sainsburys and had to feed the meter every 2 hours until 7pm and again from 10am Sunday morning.
first, the location is very nice and convenient, either go to university, market, sea front, railway or bus station all are in walking distance. The comfort in hotel and politeness of staff at every level was outstanding.
make the internet or wifi free. This is the only thing which i don't like.
Good location if travelling by train. Good for shops.
Can be noisy at night with revellers talking on the wall outside until the early hours of the morning. Also the traffic on the roundabout is a constant noise.
We always stay in this hotel when visiting Plymouth as the location is good. We like having Sky Sport on TV too.
The hotel is getting a little dated now but generally OK. Breakfast is expensive so we.always eat out.
Room service was excellent and quick
Unfortunately the bed was rather soft and we kept hurting ourselves on the bathroom door handle to the point of bruising
Ideal central location with the theatre, shops and restaurant all an easy walk away
Breakfast each morning a little disorganised you are left to fend for yourself and in some cases lay your own table
spacious option of bath or shower nice welcome on tv
a bit dated
This is a really well run Hotel with excellent Staff. Like most Central Hotels the Bar Tarriff is quite high but no worse than others of the same type. The food is good valuse for money and the rooms are comfortable
The hotel is a bit tired and needs a revamp. However it is still one of the better hotels in Playmouth.
The hotel is located in the cetee of town. Staff were friendly and courteous.
The hotel decour is a bit dowdy and dated and could do with a refurbishment.
