Comfortable bed and hotel in good location. Breakfast was very poor. Hot buffet English breakfast advertised on the menu was not available and we were just asked what we wanted for breakfast. We asked for full English and some time later we received a child size portion breakfast consisting on one small sausgage, one piece of bacon, a few mushrooms, 1/2 a raw tomoto, 1/2 spoon of beans and badly cooked srambled egg for my wife and rubber fried egg for me. Bearing in mind the real cost of breakfast is £15 ish this was appalling. There was a cold buffet consisting of cereals, breads, pastries and cold meats/cheese but this is not what we expected at all - especially with a long journey ahead of us. The bar staff were not very friendly on the evening. |

Relaxing and comfortable. Room was excellent Trying to find hotel car park. It had a roller shutter door that was closed so it did not look like the car park. Had to leave the car, walk round to the front of the hotel to reception and enquire about the car park. |

The rooms are a good size, it is comfortable and the staff are friendly. It has a great central location but runs next to a main road which is fairly noisy. |

The location is very convenient for the city centre and for the Football Ground. Easy to find as well. This was my second stay and I'm still happy with the service, staff and rooms. |

the staff are unhelpful, try and wriggle out of paying back vat refund which still pursuing, fire alarms triggered by rowdy guests 4.30am! then fire alarm continues until 5.30am as the fire glass has been broken dilebrately by the rowdy guests no information on what was going on just a stressed sounding staff member who clearly did not want to be bothered with informing guests of what was going on, the only help was the night porter who was more reassuring and informative than the manager..the night porter is clearly in the wrong job! Would not recommend this hotel as if you do come up against noisy guests you are stuck with them and if the hotel owe you anything you will be lucky to get it back,we had awful stay with the copthorne plymouth |

It was in a central postion for shopping in Plymouth and had secure parking for guest, albeit for an extra charge. The room was cold, a bit dingy with poor lighting. Also, there is a security issue. I am a female and regularly stay in hotels on my own, I am also only 5'2". Your spyholes in the door are too high to be of any use to a small woman on her own unless she stands on a chair. Very poor. Your designers should realise that not everyone is 6 foot tall. |

The staff serving during the bar were very helpful and polite and ensured we were happy the reception staff were not helpful - my wife tried to pay in advance for my stay as a present for me - filled in lengthy forms scanned and emailed the forms back along with copies of credit cards and it was declined twice - my wife was told it may be because she did not live in the area the card had been blocked - she phoned the card co and they said this was not correct - i was embarrassed in front of friends |

My booking from Booking.Com only arrived by fax on the morning of the stay, by which time the hotel was fully booked and there was no room for me upon arrival. However, there was a cancellation whilst I was there, so I was able to get accomodation. |
