Very pleasant check in person. The room, while not luxurious, was more than adequate and overall very good value for money.
like to have atleast a bottle of mineral water complimentary for the club level rooms.
good location; good breakfast
very noisy room (internal door to neighbouring room); small bed; we (as couple) got a room with two single beds (as for booking.com no double be guaranteed???) and after complaining got a 1.5 person bed
They gave me a room that stunk of mold and mildew, and the bathroom light had burnt out. Totally different than my longer stay there just earlier in the week, which was lovely.
Reception staff and general cleaniness of the hotel. The public toilets were excellent. Staff at breakfast were working extremely hard under very busy conditions.
Thought my room was getting shabby. Waiting in a large queue for breakfast and the bacon please crisp it off.
Location, rooms, food, service
The excellent staff and location
The food. The scrambled eggs (scrambled)did not taste like egg at all and seemed to have been fried in some unpleasant oil. some of the bacon came in threes as no one bothered to separate each portion hence the middle slice was not cooked to my liking.
Location Friendly staff
The room next door was being decorated, so i was awoken to the sound of banging!!!
Easy to get around and a lot to see and do in the area. Easy to get into London. Breakfast was excellent.
The room we had looked onto railway so a bit noisy
Really good location , value for money was really good
The hotel provided excellent accommodation and breakfast was first class. Especially liked food covering.
Room was filthy, empty fridge that made a noise all night and above a train line that had work going and trains running from all hours. No air in rooms ventilation terrible
Central location and close to buses and trains.
Getting a little dated in parts. Our door to the room needed a fresh coat of paint. Not a good look when you first arrive after a long journey from Australia.
Bring asked on check in for to pay £25 per room extra in order to get two rooms close to each other which I had requested when making the booking. I declined this offer as I felt it was just a way for the hotel to make more money from me.
Excellent location, very clean spacious comfortable room. Exceptional value for money.
Clean, good location, helpful staff, decent size rooms and quite peaceful for central London, all at a reasonable price.
The rooms and bathrooms are very tired and 'well used'". Could do with a refurb - but having said that they are clean and the price was right.
location-two minute walk form High St Kensington tube. Outside of congestion charge area. Easy access to M4 with ample parking. Comfortable bed.
Room bit shabby, tired looking. Sockets awkward to reach. Train noise, but not intrusive. On booking quoted £15 per night parking, in fact it's £20.
We loved everything about the Tara Kensington, the position, the staff, the food, the quietness at night for a good sleep.I would stay again, wish I could stay again tomorrow!!!!!
My complaint, was the sink plug didn't work, and we couldn't get it fixed properly, even though we had told the staff, but we still managed.
The Location Value for money Good standard
Close to Tube and good location
Good Location. Very accessible for Tube and Buses. Impressive 4 star Hotel. superb, professional, friendly, smart Staff. Hotel is very clean throughout. Excellent Breakfast selection and quality of food.Good value for money.
There is nothing we don't like we have stayed many times, we have tried other Hotels when we cant get in due to you being fully booked up and are often very disappointed.
Situation excellent for Royal Albert Hall. Lovely large bedroom and TV
Used to a bigger bed in hotels we visit
Hotel bar is very expensive.
On arrival in my room in the bathroom there was a top from a bottle of shampoo from previous guest in the bath. One of the towels was badly stained and all the towels did nit look very clean. The trainline was just outside my window and the train noise was very noticeable. The wi fi connection was poor and kept "dropping out" . considering the hotel was rated as four star the standard overall was extremely poor and I would not recommend this hotel at all.
Tourist bus very good. River trip included in two day ticket.Allowed chance to view sights and plan a strategic plan.
Breakfast and wifi extra cost. This was the only place on month long trip to Europe where these this was extra cost.
