The staff were so friendly and helpful. We were in the area for a wedding in Clitheroe a few miles away but although a bit remote the Copy Nook is in a beautiful location. We went for a loveky walk the day after and its beautiful countryside.I would definitely recommend a stay. The breakfast is excellent and nothing too much trouble
There wasnt anything we didnt like
attentive staff. enjoyed an excellent evening meal, my partners fillet steak was the best he'd eaten in a long time.
strange smell in the bar /eating area. cobwebs on bedroom ceiling
The Food is of an excellent standard
The Bedrooms were cold and there was very little heating. As it was winter this was noticeable
Quiet location, comfortable rooms.
Studying at night, wifi could have done with being stronger signal
atmosphere in bar and restaurant real fire very welcoming good food hearty breakfast
Access to rooms, stairs could be difficult extra cost for smoked salmon and eggs for breakfast
Excellent location and base for either an overnight stay or a tour the area and beautiful countryside. Traditionally furnished and comfortable accommodation and a hearty full english breakfast.
The staff were lovely - delicious breakfast and nice clean spacious room
The only little niggle was the wi-fi signal in our room was very weak and so we couldn't really use it. I think it was just because of the distance and walls between the room and the actual router.
Nice room, clean, large for price
Shower didn't work well, although there was a bath Staff were not very welcoming, always seemed that bit too busy Massive menu - food fine but suspect would be great if concentrated on fewer things!
An ideal overnight stop in beautiful countryside. Traditionally furnished country hotel/public house with comfortable bedrooms and an excellent full English breakfast and good value for money.
Superb Country Hotel with the elegance of years gone by incorporating charming accommodation and a menu and food second to none. Special thanks to the young people who waited on tables - they could not have done more.
Nothing to dislike.
The food is incredible, Brendan is an amazing cook. Comfort is key here and you just feel your body relax as soon as you enter.
No option for vegetarians on the breakfast menu. Full English or Salmon. No other options
Friendly and helpful staff Friendly Pub Nice room Nice views Good Food Delicious Cooked breakfast Free WIFi
Bed Service Cleanliness Biscuits and hot drinks in room
Breakfast was good but a better selection of breakfast cereal such as branflakes, fruit n fibre, Allbran or Weetabix would have been good. Also a selection of fresh fruit would be appreciated.
The accommodation was comfortable and very clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The menu was extensive and seasonal and was well-cooked, piping hot but NOT mushy (hate soggy veg!!) The bar and restaurant are homely and atmospheric and even customers were welcoming and friendly. . Breakfast was cooked to order and superb
Cannot fault this hotel, the room was lovely, very comfortable, large and plush. The landlady could not do enough to make our stay comfortable and to accomodate our needs. We had an evening meal in the bar which was superb. Our bikes were stored securely and breakfast was set out early to help us to get on our way. This place is a little gem set in the most idealic surroundings, I would definately stay again.
We could only stay one night :(
warm friendly management and staff. Great service and reasonable pub grub food ; clean rooms and great breakfast!
Nowhere comfortable to sit outside
Excellent well cooked breakfast. Friendly staff.
A bit out of the way but wonderful views. Not aware of gluten free diet.
They went out of their way to make me an early breakfast. Very friendly Great food, well priced. Good local beers Great views Very convenient location, but still in the middle of beautiful countryside
Good location Good food Comfortable room
Staff without exception went the extra mile to provide a good service.
Lovely location overlooking the paddocks. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Lovely home cooking. Loved the owners personal touches around the walls.
All the staff were very attentive with the waitresses having an engaging manner. The atmosphere of the bar in the evening encouraged socialising with strangers and interesting conversation. The interior decoration was reassuringly none contemporary and unusual/interesting. The food was excellent, pheasant cooked to perfection.
everything from the moment we walked in was made welcomed would go back.
Restaurant food was excellent Staff were friendly Room was quiet and comfy
The dinner,we had one meat dish and one vegetarian meal, was faultless. The location is lovely. The room and en suite was of a generous size.
Nothing to complain about.
