Everything was good but ro has got ventilators and too much noise comes during nightime in the room .
Location was good and staff as well.
It was clean, staff friendly. Ideal for a budget stay in London, close to all we needed, quiet area.
Stairs were a problem for us with a young child, perhaps family rooms should have been lower down. Would have liked more choice at breakfast.
friendly communicative staff excellent position close to railway station quiet place
Staff were friendly
Had to ask for towels and soap, there was no shampoo or conditioner. We paid 2 pounds per case to keep it in the room for an hour after check out
Location was good. Cleaner always asked if we wanted our room done.
The room was tiny and next to the breakfast room in the basement so we got woken up when the staff ate late or by the breakfasting guests. The male receptionists always spoke to my husband but never to me. Kettle plug didn't actually reach the socket so we had to put it on the floor to use it.
Bed was broken
nothing. no towel, no soap, no shampoo, no milk and no proper blanket, very very small room.
location is good clean Good staff
big clean room, comfy bed, superb location with a lovely pub across the road. This little hotel is worth the money.
Weird things - no remote control - you have to go to the reception and borrow one, signing for it (maybe they lose a lot of remote controls!?) - same goes for towels. You have to go downstairs and ask for them and sign for them. Weird! It's an old place and not at all glamorous, but for central London it is a very clean, comfortable place to sleep if that is all you need.
Near both Pimlico and Victoria station
You have to ask for cleaning service and towels! And when they do clean the room they don't make the beds or give us new towels.
It was very basic but the cheapest we could find in the area we wanted. Was a little wary after we'd read the negative reviews but it was very clean, staff were friendly and it was an excellent location, only a 30 minute walk from Hyde Park and Oxford Street and just 20 minutes from attractions such as Big Ben. Will definitely go back! Ideal for somewhere to get your head down for the night. Happy :-)
only location is good.
I stayed only one night at quadruple room. The room is very small and dirty. And the bathroom is also small. I was so disappointed. And I thought only one night was lucky. The hotel smaller than I expected, and different from the picture. Furthermore, I payed by card and the staff require fees without any explanation. That was too bad.
room, shower area, tv, stairs to room.
It was not clean The staff was shady Not worth 99£ for this quality
quiet relaxed hotel in a great location. good to have a budget hotel in the area.
just little touches to finish off rooms eg.paint. need to look at the ventilation of rooms a bit of dampness in the air.
Near to station, lovely cafe around the corner for breakfast.
Homophobic night porter made us feel uncomfortable and unsafe. Room 5 was filthy, smelly, damp. Didn't want to walk on carpet. Couldn't bring myself to take a shower for fear of catching something. Complained in the morning to the manager who offered us another room. If it was just the room that was the problem we would have moved (even after one night all our clothes felt and smelt damp) but we didn't want to stay another night as we felt unsafe. Mgr told us he wouldn't refund as there is 48hr cancellation fee and would need to go through booking.com for refund. I told him we were not cancelling, we were leaving because his staff made us feel unsafe, we heard the night porter standing outside our room on more than one occasion, then again looking through a cupboard at 1 am outside the room. In the end the manager refunded the 2nd night and we booked into another hotel in earls court for an additional £100 but would have paid double to leave corbigoe. The worst hotel I've ever stayed in.
The location and low cost for its position. Very near Pimlico tube station.
Some of the staff were a little disinterested. The hotel is rather run-down and could do with redecoration + some softer pillows!
near to the city
realy small bathroom, quite loud due to thin walls
i stayed few years back.its facilties improved seems they have refurbished completely. friendly staff clean batroom. wifi for small charge. ver well located.
no English breakfast
Best location for this price
I've booked triple room - they gave us very little room with 2 king-sized beds , so , couple of us need to sleep together. They still didn't give me back the money to my card, which the hotel have charged at first day as a gurantee (but promissed to do it in 10 days - now it is 15 days over) . Room wasn't clean and reception guy was a bit annoying
After the hotel reception swiped my credit card to pay for the hotel room, he said he didnt have the room for me!!! he should have said that before he swiped my card, right? he said the previous guess broke the gas pipe in the room so that i can't stay in that room. he offered me to share a room with other guess! Unbelievable, isn't it? i didnt accept that because i just paid the full price for a separated room. Then he offered to return the money, which i didnt accept either coz i didnt want to walk in to other hotel and pay the walk-in tariff. Then he made me wait 1.30 hours to find me a room in other hotel which is a filthy tiny bed&breakfast! This guy was obviously tricky. what a disaster! i recommend BOOKING.COM not to co-ordinate with this hotel anymore. This place and its staff are absolutely unreliable!!!
The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The location was ideal as it was only a five minute walk to Victoria station and at that price you couldn't expect more.
We had a lot of bags and had to carry them up seven flights of stairs but I suppose that is more of a personal problem.
The room was dirty and the bed was broken when we got there
