The location, the staff were pleasant.
There was dust on the doors and radiators, the shower head was disgusting and needed a good clean.
Quiet ; all ok
Great location, everything is within walking distance. The staff is fabulous! Our flight was delayed and someone not only gave us directions but waited up for us. The hotel is very charming, safe, clean and comfortable. Will definitely go back again.
The place is absolutely perfect - close to the center and calm.
No lift and you should carry your luggage four floors up without any help. They charge your credit card for 85 pounds at any rate. No toiletries in the room, to say nothing of hairdryer. No small towels, only bath ones. Double room is so tiny you can hardly move there.
Close to subway
Old run down, smelly, party people. No elevator 3 stories. No free wifi. Don't forget to ask for towels, and housekeeping.
Very poor facility.
Location, value for money, friendly staff
TV remote missing from room so TV not usable, Towel missing from room on third night.
Clean. Friendly, welcoming staff.
Parking was half a mile away and £24 for 24 hours. Beds poor quality. Had to ask for blankets. The 'so called' continental breakfast was charged at £3.50 pp extra and was only toast and cerael and juice/tea/coffee.
Location and lovely view of the shard as the sun rise.
Everything was good but ro has got ventilators and too much noise comes during nightime in the room .
Location was good and staff as well.
It was clean, staff friendly. Ideal for a budget stay in London, close to all we needed, quiet area.
Stairs were a problem for us with a young child, perhaps family rooms should have been lower down. Would have liked more choice at breakfast.
friendly communicative staff excellent position close to railway station quiet place
Staff were friendly
Had to ask for towels and soap, there was no shampoo or conditioner. We paid 2 pounds per case to keep it in the room for an hour after check out
Location was good. Cleaner always asked if we wanted our room done.
The room was tiny and next to the breakfast room in the basement so we got woken up when the staff ate late or by the breakfasting guests. The male receptionists always spoke to my husband but never to me. Kettle plug didn't actually reach the socket so we had to put it on the floor to use it.
Bed was broken
nothing. no towel, no soap, no shampoo, no milk and no proper blanket, very very small room.
location is good clean Good staff
big clean room, comfy bed, superb location with a lovely pub across the road. This little hotel is worth the money.
Weird things - no remote control - you have to go to the reception and borrow one, signing for it (maybe they lose a lot of remote controls!?) - same goes for towels. You have to go downstairs and ask for them and sign for them. Weird! It's an old place and not at all glamorous, but for central London it is a very clean, comfortable place to sleep if that is all you need.
Near both Pimlico and Victoria station
You have to ask for cleaning service and towels! And when they do clean the room they don't make the beds or give us new towels.
It was very basic but the cheapest we could find in the area we wanted. Was a little wary after we'd read the negative reviews but it was very clean, staff were friendly and it was an excellent location, only a 30 minute walk from Hyde Park and Oxford Street and just 20 minutes from attractions such as Big Ben. Will definitely go back! Ideal for somewhere to get your head down for the night. Happy :-)
only location is good.
I stayed only one night at quadruple room. The room is very small and dirty. And the bathroom is also small. I was so disappointed. And I thought only one night was lucky. The hotel smaller than I expected, and different from the picture. Furthermore, I payed by card and the staff require fees without any explanation. That was too bad.
room, shower area, tv, stairs to room.
It was not clean The staff was shady Not worth 99£ for this quality
quiet relaxed hotel in a great location. good to have a budget hotel in the area.
just little touches to finish off rooms eg.paint. need to look at the ventilation of rooms a bit of dampness in the air.
