Tolle lage direkt am Meer, besonders am Empfang überdurchschnitlich freundliches personal. Das Hotel hatten wir unter anderem gewählt um unseren Hund mitnehmen zu können, dort ist sie sehr freundlich aufgenommen worden. "Old English Charm" aber nicht auf dem allerneuesten renovierungsstand, vor allem das Bad noch 70er jahre Charm. Insgesamt sehr idyllisch, sehr freundlich, etwas renovierungsbeürftig (für besonders anspruchsvolle)

Das Personal war sehr freundlich speziell an der Reception, an der Bar und die Zimmermädchen. Die Qualität der warmen Speisen beim Frühstück war gut.

Das Hotel liegt direkt an einer stark befahrenen Hauptstrasse. Teppiche, Vorhänge und die Einrichtung unseres Zimmers machten den Eindruck als hätten sie bessere Zeiten gesehen. Wünschenswert ist auch eine Dusche die nicht fest eingebaut ist.

It is a friendly hotel with character. We were in a room facing the sea and it is an excellent location. The food was of good quality and the staff are friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our visit and would like to return for a further stay. We had one problem in that one of our family was in a single room at the back of the hotel and there was a constant noise from an extractor fan in the kitchen underneath. The staff found an alternative room - but if the hotel was full it would have been a problem. In general we really enjoyed our visit to the Corbyn Head Hotel. A big plus there is room to park.

The noisy room as indicated above in Room 20 and it needs a solution.

The front desk staff and the dining room waiting staff were 5 stars. In fact I have stayed in 5 Star hotels where the staff was not as good. The food was also excellent and of a very high quality.

We noticed on leaving the Hotel that the clean bed linen was laid on the floor out side of the rooms waiting to be cleaned. This is a pet friendly hotel and the clean bed linen should not be stored on the hall floors before being put on the beds.

Location was excellent, large group staying in three hotels. All within the same area.

Didn't like the bed linen, duvets would have been nicer but that's just personal preference

Although only staying for two nights this hotel was ideal for our needs, very pleasant and efficient staff, comfortable room and a very good menu for both breakfast and dinner.

The view out the window

Was very old and old fashioned furnishings and was not walking distance from the restaurants and bars in Torquay. Also there was no beach outside the hotel.

We had a wonderful time during our stay,the staff were very friendly and helpfulthroughout our stay.The food was fantastic we planned to go out but the choiceon the menu was too good to miss.We shall return very soon

Bed mattres very hard also could feel springs. Very uncomfortable!!! Poor nights sleep .Otherwise everything excellent, Thank you .

Very relaxing environment. Food out of this world. Will deffernately stay here again

Toilet seat loose lights not working ( 2) armchair broken cobwebs on wall and ceiling

Gives a good view from the bar, the lounge, and the front bedrooms of the Torquay coast, seascape/misty in the morning, lovely in the sunshine, and attractive lights at night. Staff at reception, restaurant and bar were friendly and efficient without exception, which tells you that the management is good. Choice of food from bar snacks to full 4- course dinner gives flexibility, and good breakfast menu. All food was good quality. Plenty of car parking, which for us was essential. Overall a very good 3 star hotel.

Rooms with the best view (at the front) are subject to road noise if the windows are open, but on balance the view is worth it. Bed was harder than we have at home.
