Our room (11) was directly above the bar. At 1.30am I had to come down and ask some of the residents to pls keep their voices down.

Location Overpriced for the quality of the room. I would expect to be able to stand upright in the bathroom (and im not the tallest person at 5-10) and the television had sound but no picture after 2 minutes! The room was shabby and the bathroom tatty.

We stayed in a compact double room, but it wasn't as compact as we expected. It was clean and bright and had a nice view over the garden. The room was quiet, despite being on the first floor over the bar area. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly and were very accommodating when we asked if we could check out of the room a bit later. The hotel has a lovely garden that would be safe for children to run around in.

The hotel is friendly and comfortable. Lovely bar area to relax in with newspapers and board games for a wet weekend break! Friendly staff and good food in the restaurant - both breakfast and the dinner we had one night of our stay. Location good - 5 minute walk to centre of Cirencester and its beautiful parish church - we enjoyed a superb Easter Sunday service. Nothing to complain about except I would always recommend any hotel to provide the best and most comfy pillows as that is what people book into a hotel for - to sleep!

The Hotel was in an excellent location within easy reach of walking to the town and around. It had a large car park and lovely garden. The bar was cosy and friendly and there was also a restaurant if you wanted to eat there. The staff were friendly and the room spotless with a lovely big bath and shower. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

Fabulous location , walking distance from town centre , great parking and a great cooked breakfast . All round a Fab hotel for the money In a town like Cirencester , you cant expect a City hotel luxury . The floor boards creak and the inside walls are thin , the street outside can be a little noisy at certain times with local deliveries . But the bed sheets were crisp and clean and the room had everything you needed , the food was excellent

Liked the individuality of the hotel and rooms. Good freshly cooked breakfast to order. Quiet. Tea making facilities in the room. Clean and fresh. Being put in an attic room (both of us in our individual rooms). Would have liked to be offered the choice and would have declined those particular rooms, nice though they were. Beam right in middle of bathroom and have to remember to duck down before using lavatory. In the event wasn't a problem, though could be if using in middle of night and possibly not completely awake. Also attic rooms mean more stairs to climb, plus luggage. Also more difficult to evacuate in event of fire.

Restaurant very good - good range of choices of well cooked food at good value prices, excellent cooked breakfast. Friendly staff. Free internet was excellent and easily accessed. Rooms and bathrooms are small but comfortable. Shower cubicles a challenge for the larger frame.

A pleasant hotel close to Cirencester Town Centre. The staff were very busy as its a popular office party venue, and was full for lunch and dinner. The room was quite comfortable and well appointed, and the breakfast was good.

The staff were very friendly and accomodating and nothing was any trouble at all. The location to the town centre is great with just a 5 minute steady walk away.We had dinner at the hotel which was exellent as was the buffet breakfast. The room was very clean and adequate for one to two nights but the wardrobe in our room (5) was a little on the small side for a longer stay.

It has a big car park and is a pretty building from outside Stayed in twin room - room number 1 - walk down the corridor passed the ladies and gents for the hotel and restaurant and then the room was just there on the right. Very small room - over stuffed with unnecessary furniture - bathroom also very small. Clean but pillows awful - would recomend guests take their own.

The entrance from the car park gave a favourable first impression. Nice to know there was somewhere pleasant to sit in the sun. I didn't know that when I booked. Warm welcome & shown swiftly to room with offer if carrying bags. Small bathroom with 1 large towel each. Nice bedding and spotless. Great location to walk around the town. The entrance from the main street was small but the red geranium and the table and chairs looked inviting. I recommend it. Thank you Unfortunately did not have chance to eat in dining room for evening meal as party in . That had been one of our reasons for choosing it. But did not matter as found le beajolais.
