Inexpensive price was appropriate for what we got, the breakfast spread was good and the wifi signal strong.
Restaurant menu for dinner is a bit old fashioned. Would have liked facial tissue in the bathroom, bed linens were somewhat threadbare and torn. Neighborhood felt a bit dodgy, thankfully nothing happened to our car during our stay. Not a great location for tourists, not really close to anything.
Room was clean bed was comfortable. Food was good in the restaurant service also good
Chef booked me in receptionist ill nobody new what they were doing .lift broke down . place is old and dated shower useless internet was on a short cable.
Breakfast was nice, wouldve preferred more juice options but for the overall price I paid...breakfast was absolutely fine. Staff were friendly enough.
hotel definitely needs nodernising, bed was tiny, and I wouldve preferred a more comfortable and better sized bed, regardless of how much I paid for the room.
size of room
the whole package!
ease of booking in - friendly staff - always happy to help, room was good although we wanted an adjoining room for the kids to be near, but we sorted it out, the restaurant was as good as you get, the meal was ok we all seemed to like what we got and even our youngest was over fed for once. breakfast was very good
The room had some dust around the skirting boards, the meal that I and my daughter had was over cooked and had gone hard, it was the lamb shank, saying that the sauce was fine. you couldn’t order poached eggs? rate it out of 10 possibly 7
Very quick and easy check-in Friendly efficient staff Good food in restaurant Value Free parking
2nd floor room, up in eaves of hotel - no headroom for a 6ft+adult. Very cold, heating wasn't on (came on sometime after 10pm) Only wifi in restaurant Bed very soft and springy
Staff was really helpful and polite
Room and service were excellent
Location quite noisy, in between two major roads
Good value for money
Friendly staff Good meal Clean bathrooms
The food is extremely good. Very impressed with the value for money in this aspect.
The WiFi in my room was intermittent and not all my devices could connect easily, if at all.
Friendliness of staff. Good size rooms. Good breakfast. Good bathroom.
No wi fi in room. Unable to turn radiator off..very hot during the night.
Great food and very good room
Spacious bedroom Freindly staff
Restaurant only open part of day on Sunday
The breakfast offered was really nice, hot, and they had a variety of stuff.
Basically everything else. We didn't have wifi in our room, which was fairly close to the lobby. When we asked, we were told to try it in the lobby, when that didn't work we were told they'd "try to get someone to fix it" which never happened. Look, I know it's just wifi at the end of the day, first world problem, but one of the reasons I paid more to stay at this place was the "free wifi" The bed had the absolute worst mattress I've ever slept on, and I've stayed in some cheap hostels. I feel like I paid way too much based on what I got back. Travelodge next time.
Lighting in the family room was poor.
The communal areas of the hotel are really well laid out and the staff are welcoming and very considerate
The room although clean well priced and business like seemed a little austere.. but I think a man with a serious purpose can live with that.
room15 shower did not work
Friendly staff, comfortable large room. Very accommodating made sure our room was ready for an early check in.
Some of the furniture is a little tired.
There wasn't alot of the menu that didn't contain foods that my son was sensitive to, so the chef put together a special evening meal to cater for his allergies. Brilliant service with a smile. 10/10 from us.
Didn't appreciate the Taxi drivers and contractors parking in the Disabled Parking Bays instead of parking in the spaces a short walk away, in the main car park. Also taxi drivers urinating up against the hotel wall wasn't a pleasant sight to see.
Great rate Breakfast included and it was a really good breakfast
On the ground floor on a Saturday night - it was a bit noisy with people coming and going outside and being noisy in the corridor The bed was very bouncy - there's an awful lot to be said for individual pocket sprung mattresses!
not in the city centre but taxi was only £8 and easy to arrange
very thin walls between rooms
