Location Washing facilities Breakfast
Squeaky bed Lack of full mirror
Our room (10) was very cosy and perfectly clean, we also found the bed comfortable. Friendly welcome. Will stay again.
Situation, quaintness, cleanliness. Lovely proprietor .had the family room would definately stay again. Great value for money
A little noisy early night around 10pm from street
Location is excellent and 5 minute walk to train station
Road noise as police station. Town clock strikes every 15 minutes and room doors bang all of the time. Very limited sleep over whole week!
A lovely room, with half timbered beams, and full of character. There was a fridge in the room, and good facilities.
The bed was slightly uncomfortable.
It is good place to stay at in Ashford for cyclists who want to travel around the city (Leeds Castle, Sissinghurst, Tenterden, Canterbury ...)
The room was not very soundproof and was not serviced for three consecutive days.
Close to Ashford International Rail Station and located in Ashford High Street so convenient as an overnight transit stop.
Bed was too short and mattress was saggy
boss is very friendly
window can not be openned ,no fresh air come in
We could not fault the hotel, it had real quirky & homely charm - the manager had a wonderful "can do" attitude, allowing us to leave our bags early, check out late & he also booked our taxi for us. The bed was comfy & the room spacious and characterful. The staff were, without exception, very friendly & welcoming, both in the B&B and in the cafe where breakfast was served (which we could have at any time to suit us). The cafe was spotless & served a good choice of cooked or continental breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay at Cornerstone B&B, much more enjoyable than the generic travel motel type! We would definitely recommend it.
We really could not think of a single negative to say about the B&B.
Almost everything. The room was amazing, cool location and the breakfast was insanely good. Coffee was the best of the zone
The wifi didnt working for a few hours in the first day of stay
A lovely old fashioned B&B tucked away just off the pedestrian main street. Perhaps not the fanciest of decors but very friendly and accommodating staff and good value for the price, which included a hearty cooked breakfast at the cafe just next door and stable and reasonably speedy wifi.
Quaint English Style and Great Service x
The Birds were singing too early ...
We really enjoyed our stay - the room was very clean, the staff incredibly friendly and the breakfast - served by the chef himself - very good. There are also good places to eat close by.
Bottles of water as well as tea & coffee was a nice touch. Although only just off high st, surprisingly quiet. Value for money
Parking - limited spaces and on a raised area of concrete that was difficult to get our car on to - ended up using pay & display. No fire safety/evacuation signs. Decor a bit dated.
Excellent location, walking distance to Ashford International train station and high street. Internet connection also excellent. Cleanliness also excellent would recommend and also visit again.
Horrible. The worst nightmare you can encounter. The host was wearing a t-shirt full of stains, no interest at all, but for the payment. The rooms were closets, big enough for a bed. No windows at all. The bed was covered in leafs and dust. We had to clean the toiletseat from urine and other brownies. Smelly, noisy and absolutely too expensive for this terrible mess. This B&B should not be on booking.com. Don't say we didn't warn you!
Breakfast included good. Location in the middle of the center.
This is not a bed & breakfast. This is a pure business, a factory where bedrooms are accumulated ! It looks like a prison. " a colorful prison " since all the bedrooms are painted in different colours but it looks so fake. The room are tiny, and I really felt like in a cell in jail !! Plus, there is no window, except on the roof but which is totally useless because it's too high to reach it so you can't even open the window if you're hot but THE WORST you can not even close down a shutter or a curtain !! Thank you to be awake at 6.00 in the morning .... plus, it's noisy, I've been awake all night long because it's a real factory of " putting people in boxes" , people can't stop coming in and out all night long so you can hear everything... The cup for my tea and the kettle were dirty.
Brilliant B&B nothing was too much trouble, food at the cafe was really nice, all the B&B and cafe were clean and staff professional. Facilities were really good with Tea and coffee, free bottled water, free Wi-Fi, a fridge freezer in the room along with a microwave. Each room also has washing facilities etc. Recommend for long or short stays but not sure what there is to do in the local area.
Hard to find as it is hidden down a back street.
Very Helpful Characterful Room Big Bathroom Great Location for train station Free parking
Awful noisy bed, mattress too soft Noisy outside, people, seagulls etc Breakfast dire - had to pay for second cup of coffee and the sausage/bacon was of very poor standard and badly cooked.
This hotel was very convenient for catching the Eurostar to Paris. We could walk to the Gare.
More than helpful and gave great advice. Even provided a packed lunch as we had an early Eurostar booking and couldn't accept the included breakfast. Would definitely stay again should the need arise ( Eurostar Trip)
Convenient and clean
Room very small and one bed shorter and not full length. No regular windows only roof fanlights. If driving to B&B very hard to find.
The bed in my room was extremely comfortable, the bathroom an excellent size and facilities within it good, extremely clean accommodation throughout, really friendly staff, easy to get to/from the railway station
The owner was so helpful, we had to leave very early in the morning and he brought our continental breakfast to our room before 6am. Normally we either have to bring our own food if we have an early start or we are frowned on and have to grovel .Our room was beamed and the floor was not level, lovely.
A very comfortable room and bed with a large en-suite bathroom, tea and coffee-making facilities and TV. The proprietor was very helpful and obliging. I would be happy to stay there again if in Ashford.
A violent thunder storm in the middle of the night, which kept me awake, but over which the proprietor obviously had no control ! Otherwise, there was nothing to dislike.
