A Victorian house built in 1871 and located a 20-minute drive from Manchester, Cornerstones Guest House offers cooked breakfasts, a residents’ living room, free Wi-Fi and free parking. The rooms are individually and stylishly decorated. Each has tea/coffee making facilities, ironing facilities and a flat-screen TV. In the morning, guests can have a continental breakfast or a full English option. A vegetarian cooked breakfast is available if requested in advance. There is a bus stop just a few steps away from the Cornerstones’ front door and it takes 30-minutes to get to Manchester city centre by bus. Urmston Rail station is a 10-minute drive away. As an area manager for a high class tour operator, I am used to assessing accommodation and can assure you that you will not be disappointed at Cornerstones. Exceptional customer service, hitting just the right level of "helpful" without being overbearing. The guest house is spotless and so comfortable, you will want to move in!

I have never stayed at a guest house before however my stay at Cornerstones was very pleasant. I had travelled from Birmingham on Wednesday night in preparation for an interview on Thursday morning in Sale. Whilst I didn't get the job I did not feel I had wasted my money. Tony was welcoming and the guest house had a traditional feel to it with innovative and uniquely designed bedrooms. I stayed in Room 8 "Paris Chic" room and I must've taken 20+ pics to show off to the family. Standard hotels are over used and cleanliness and hygiene is often sacrificed for a cheaper nights stay. I'm glad I paid a few pounds extra as I felt at peace in my clean and comfortable room. I can't say there was anything I disliked but as I hadn't stayed in a Guest House before I didn't expect doors to close at a certain time. I am quite an insomniac so normally like the freedom to wander in an and out at crazy hours. But as Tony rightly pointed out I should have been getting rest before the interview lol.
