Lovely room, great breakfasts, excellent staff, quiet location.
Limited on site parking though possible to also park in the road nearby which is quiet so no great problem.
Friendly couple running the B&B; good breakfast, very clean and well equipped. Lovely place to stay
Single beds in twin room were 2'6" not 3 foot; so a little small for adults
Wonderful location in a great town. Stuart and Linda are really welcoming and full of great suggestions for where to eat and go. Beautifully cooked breakfast. We had a room with a seaview which was lovely. Thanks very much.
All of it. A wonderful Bed&Breakfast I strongly recommend to anyone visiting the Isle of Wight. A huge thanks to Stuart and Linda, our hosts.
Warm and friendly hosts, light and airy room, the most comfortable bed.
Nothing - it is fab
Cornerways feels like home. Linda and Stuart are the most friendly, helpful and nicest hosts ever. We spent some beautiful days and enjoyed every single moment. Many thanks to Linda and Stuart
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were very comforable.
Hosts were very welcoming. Breakfasts were amazing and filling. I would recommend Cornerways.
Parking is limited, but we managed. Generally parking is probably limited in most places
We stayed 2 nights at Cornerways and everything was great, from the extremely nice owners to the big, bright and quiet room and the amazing breakfast.
Ventnor is fairly small but the house is still a good 10 minute walk from the town centre, with no restaurants or bars in close vicinity.
Breakfast, comfy room, bath.
Shower over bath.
Our bedroom was large and very comfortable. We loved the double aspect windows and the sea view. The bed was super comfortable and we slept really well.
The plumbing for the toilet was not good and after flushing the toilet gurgled and made a loud noise for about 10 minutes which was a bit annoying in the night.
The proprietors are welcoming and obliging. The superior room we booked was spacious and had all we needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfasts are excellent. I would recommend this B&B.
The WiFi in the bedroom was not strong but it didn't affect our stay.
Great place and the the couple that run were very helpful and wouldnt hesitate to go back
Absolutely everything. We arrived far too early, but we were met by Stuart, one of the owners and immediately felt like we'd known him forever. We met Linda the next day, and felt just the same. Nothing was too much for them, it was like meeting up with old friends. The room was gorgeous, with lovely sea views, exceptionally clean, with a huge, comfortable bed, serviced with beautiful bedding, and clean, fresh towels. The breakfasts were exceptional, from the buffet, with fresh fruit, cereals to clean cooked grease free full English. We will be returning next year!
That we had to leave!
Breakfast was excellent. Room was very clean and lovely bathroom supplies. Friendly hosts.
No welcome info in the room re: wifi code or useful places to visit. A pack in room would have been helpful, managed to find downstairs all the info, so just being picky.
The host (sorry, I don't remember the name) couldn't be friendlier and helpful. He explained to us what to visit and where to have dinner. The breakfast was fantastic (cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit, full english breakfast, etc.) and once more, he was very thoughtful and we shared very nice chats. The room was immaculate with nice views to nature, quiet, comfortable and with a big bathroom. There is also a bus stop nearby. As we were travelling all around the isle and staying in different places, we couldn't stay longer, but we would have loved to. We recommend it 100%.
Very well run. Hosts could not do enough for you. Thank you very much for a very enjoyable stay.
Breakfast Staff Warm welcome Room Location
We both loved to stay at Cornerways. It is a family run business, therefore it is quite small and quite. The people are really friendly and helped us with every problem we had. They also recommended us several good restaurants in the city and places to see. The breakfast is lovely- they had fresh fruit salad and a very yummy english breakfast. The room is very cozy and is equipped with everything that we needed. Everything was just wonderful!
spacious, comfortable room, lovely sea views, peaceful location, excellent breakfast, welcoming hosts.
private parking a bit restricted
The hotel is run by a lovely couple and nothing was too much trouble. The full english breakfast was excellent and was coupled with a huge glass of assorted exotic fresh fruit. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. Highly recommended.
Not a lot to dislike. Whilst the hotel is in a very quiet location it is a steep walk to the beach front amenities.
A very warm welcome. Lovely quiet location, we had a room with a lovely view of the Channel. Good breakfast. Nice restaurant within walking distance, called Phileas Fogg.
Everything was to our liking especially the relaxed but professional attitude of the staff. Stuart and Linda were so helpful suggesting places to eat, visit etc. It would be difficult to find fault with this excellent B&B.
Nothing for us to dislike.
Overall a pleasant B & B, nice and quiet and really friendly owners. Will certainly book again for our next visit - if they'll have us.
Not anything really to dislike. WE got the impression there was noWIFialthough er didn't ask. This could be useful
This was not a holiday but were visiting the island for a funeral. Breakfasts were excellent starting with fresh fruit every day. Also the room was more than adequate.with plenty of space.
Thought that the bed and pillows were very hard.
