Trevlig och tillmötesgående personal. Stora, bekväma rum, bra matsal. trafiken från gatan kunde vara störande i rummen med utsikt mot vägen, i rummen mot baksidan var det inget problem med trafikbuller. |

Private off street parking was useful. Electric shower did not work, we did not have Hot Water in Bathroom. Proprietor admitted they'd had some problems yey still offererd the room for accommodation. |

We found the staff pleasant helpful and friendly. The room was spacious with a good bed and television, The breakfast area was also pleasant. The house was indeed a pleasure to stay in.. Unfortunately there was a hole in the window of our room, which rather resembled a bullet hole. The number of the room was number 9 in the house numbered 186, St. Johns Road. Also we heard people returning in the early hours of the morning making a lot of noise. |

I booked the hotel for two engineers who were working at Edinburgh airport so I did not actually staybut they have told me it was comfortable The engineers did mention that they could not have an evening meal at the hotel |

our room was clean and tidy,a bit small but the staff were very friendly and helpful and it was close enough to the city centre with a bus stop pretty much right outside. |

Near the center, fair price, beautifull garden and interier. Nice staff. I paid two times!!! First time 04.26.2009 by internet and second time by credit card 05.03.2009. I believe it is a mistake only and i will get back my money... |

Rooms were very nice, staff pleasant and helpful. I felt the breakfast (especially cooked) could have been better. Even hot would have been better. |

The staff were friendly and accommodating. Rather old fashioned. Bathroom was small with a sloping roof which meant mirror was positioned at a low level - completely inappropraite for shaving, etc. Breakfast has limited hours only up to 9am. Checking out has to be done by 10/10.30 am. |

The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, our stay at the hotel was excellent and I would recommend it to my friends and family. Only one tiny point - there were no mushrooms on the veggie breakfast! |

Excellent staff, good breakfast. location was on mian bus route for short trip to town A little cold in the rooms, not helped though by the cold snap & us being from sthn hemisphere! Price was relatively expensive but given NYE then in comparison very reasonable. |

The receptionist and breakfast were staff were excellent Window sashes hanging out. Windows didn;t work. TV sitting on a chair. Paint spashed on. Not a lot of love. |

We had a very pretty room. The food was fine and after the temperature fluctuations settled down, there was plenty of hot water in the shower. The car park was only for 3 cars. Due to the layout of the hotel, we didn't know which door to go to & went back & forth a few times knocking on different doors & waiting in the rain for an answer. There was some building noise but my biggest complaint was our bed with its pretty iron headboard which screeched each time my husband or I moved. Not a good nights sleep... |
