The welcoming staff in the Hotel especially the Asian Gentleman who greeted us on arrival and departure he was also on hand to sort out any queries we had. The breakfast was wonderfull with anything we wanted as a no problem to them. So many friendly shops nearby / accross the road also. The double bed was a bit on the hard side, but with enough Red Wine the uncomfortableness was not there

A warm welcome on arrival. Rooms cleaned daily, fresh towels daily. Food was excellent, the choice was very good. We would recommend this hotel to friends and family. The furniture was mismatched, but everything you needed was there. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

From its location, it was easy to get not only into the centre of Edinburgh but also to access the motorways to travel further afield The bed was a little uncomfortable

The large, light and airy room was comfortably appointed. The staff were attentive and helpful and the hotel was in easy reach of local amenities and on a direct bus route for Edinburgh city centre. It was also only minutes from the A720 which made sight-seeing further afield very easy.

The hotel interior has recently been repainted which was headache producing for me but likely a necessary requirement. Breakfast was plentiful and the room was comfortable and clean

closed reception upon arrival in very bad weather, changes made to where accommodation was to be and not notified until I called the hotel number whilst standing outside because I could not gain entry !!! was fixed in the end after a great struggle I gained entry to hotel after a fall on the pathway that was not cleared of snow or ice, very dissappointed ! otherwise the only staff I saw were 2 waitresses at breakfast.

The location was great if you need to get to the airport but not many restaurants close by. The breakfast was well made and the breakfast room very comfortable. Our family room was very spacious and had the benefit of the bathroom split into two rooms, one with the toilet, one with the shower with sinks in both. This made it easier to all get ready faster. There was a family member of the hotel owners or employee in the breakfast room on a computer with flip flops and a winter hat on while we were eating breakfast that was distracting. He made the room seem cold. Also the wifi cost money and you needed an ethernet cord to use it, which made it so you had to sit in front of the tv to use your laptop. All other hotels we stayed in during our holiday in the same category had free wireless wifi.

the staff were very friendly, room was clean, location ideal for our requirements & when we telephoned to say we would be arriving late due to the poor weather the staff were very kind & considerate. the shower was inadequate & no shelf in the bathroom to put toiletries, the hotel smelt strongly of fried food, even in our room, the vegetarian option for breakfast was innappropriate & very greasy, the heating system was very noisy.

the room was very nice and comfy, more than adequate for what i needed i asked for a wake up call as i had a fkight to catch in the morning but not even a knock at my door, it was a good job i set my alarm aswel and was not solely relying on this otherwise i would of missed my flight, also the "full scottish breakfast" was awful, the bacon was bullet proof and nothing on the plate resembled a scottish breakfast, no haggis tatti scone etc. just bacon,a hash brown i think, some beans and cheap nasty sausages, the egg was fine but i dont like eggs sadly so was a toal dissapointment! i would stay again as the location in relation to the airport was very convenient but will definitely take my own alarm clock and not have breakfast next time!

Great location - near airport and Haymarket station, and easy bus links to the city centre or airport right outside the hotel. Cold rooms. Not very powerful showers.

It's location for my purpose The way we was rushed through breakfast as though the staff wanted to get rid of you as soon as possible ( the cooked breakfast was brought to our table as we were still eating our cereal therefore making it cold by the time we were ready for it) and the room that my brother had was a bit dated with antique furniture in it

Near the airport No fireexits!!!!! I was chocked that my parents in law (70+) was getting a room at 2 floor. They had to climb a very steap staircase and on the 2 floor in the building there were no fireexits. So in case of fire, they would be trapped. I was almost reporting them to the police, as this can not be legal. I think you should go an have a look at room 10, 11,12,13 which is all on the 2 floor in the hotelbuilding. The room was very lousy and very oldfashion. I would never book at the Corstorphine lodge hotel again and will not recommend it to anyone!
