The welcoming staff in the Hotel especially the Asian Gentleman who greeted us on arrival and departure he was also on hand to sort out any queries we had. The breakfast was wonderfull with anything we wanted as a no problem to them. So many friendly shops nearby / accross the road also. The double bed was a bit on the hard side, but with enough Red Wine the uncomfortableness was not there

The staff were extremely friendly and made us welcome. The hotel itself was in need of a makeover and more attention to detail. For example the blind in the bathroom had a gap in the middle leaving one exposed to the main road and the tea and coffee tray was inadequate.

The manager was very accommodating over arrangements for my late arrival and over my staying in the same room for 2 nights despite my having made a mistake when booking. Quiet room which was very welcome as I was there on business and was tired after travelling. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was served from 7am and the service was very efficient. The room could have been warmer, especially on the evening I arrived. It was 6 degrees outside and was raining. Also it would have been a big bonus to have free wi-fi in the room and not just in the public areas.

Reasonable price (£69). Location to wedding party venue. Disappointing breakfast with hard poached eggs, though very friendly and pleasant waitress. No hot water either in the evening or in the morning. Too early for breakfast on a Sunday morning to have to be in dining room by 9.00 am and out of hotel by 10.00 am.

Convenience. Helpful staff (I arrived quite late with an electric piano, which the young man on the desk carried in and back to my car for me at the end). En-suite wash-room was exceptionally small, barely room to open the shower door as it was so close to the sink.

Friendly staff. Good location for sightseeing as on a bus route to city centre and you don't want to take a car into centre. Decent size of TV in room. Good value hotel. Shower not cleaned before our visit ( soap with hair left in soap tray) otherwise clean.

The location and style of building was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and in the morning our breakfast was fabulous. I would recomment this hotel to my family and friends without hesitation.

Not much to like.Cooked breakfast was reasonable. Room was not what I booked overchartged for what I had not I n the correct lodge hotel in guest house. Parking was unlit at rear front parking was for managers. No access from building to car park had to walk long way round the street with luggage. Decoration in room was selotaped to wall and also paper had been damaged. Breakfast apart from cooked food was help yourself including toast tea and coffee

the room was very nice and comfy, more than adequate for what i needed i asked for a wake up call as i had a fkight to catch in the morning but not even a knock at my door, it was a good job i set my alarm aswel and was not solely relying on this otherwise i would of missed my flight, also the "full scottish breakfast" was awful, the bacon was bullet proof and nothing on the plate resembled a scottish breakfast, no haggis tatti scone etc. just bacon,a hash brown i think, some beans and cheap nasty sausages, the egg was fine but i dont like eggs sadly so was a toal dissapointment! i would stay again as the location in relation to the airport was very convenient but will definitely take my own alarm clock and not have breakfast next time!

It's location for my purpose The way we was rushed through breakfast as though the staff wanted to get rid of you as soon as possible ( the cooked breakfast was brought to our table as we were still eating our cereal therefore making it cold by the time we were ready for it) and the room that my brother had was a bit dated with antique furniture in it

Near the airport No fireexits!!!!! I was chocked that my parents in law (70+) was getting a room at 2 floor. They had to climb a very steap staircase and on the 2 floor in the building there were no fireexits. So in case of fire, they would be trapped. I was almost reporting them to the police, as this can not be legal. I think you should go an have a look at room 10, 11,12,13 which is all on the 2 floor in the hotelbuilding. The room was very lousy and very oldfashion. I would never book at the Corstorphine lodge hotel again and will not recommend it to anyone!
