Corstorphine Lodge Hotel

Hotel jest przytulny i ładnie wyposażony, Jeżeli ktoś szuka brytyjskich domowych klimatów, to tutaj je znajdzie. Obsługa bardzo dobra, uprzejma i chętna do pomocy. Czystość - ok (jedyne co, to z sufitu zwisała pajęczyna), ale łazienka czysta, co jest najważniejsze i pokój codziennie sprzatany.

Tylko ta pajęczyna, ale to naprawdę nic.

Breakfast was disappointing - no fresh milk, undercooked food!

staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, clean and fairly well equipped. Although we did have a cracked sink in the bathroom, and could have done with a few more milk sachets for tea and coffee.

Cracked sink. Front room was noisier than I'd imagined. I know the hotel is on a main road into a very busy city, but we were disturbed a few times during the night from passing traffic, buses, taxis emergency services, the windows were not double glazed so this would not help to tone down the volume of noise from outside. Making own toast in morning, thought it would be served, as in other hotels. Ask the question for cooked breakfast, what sort of egg would you like, poached, fried or scrambled. Any mushrooms/black pudding?

Location was ok and kitchen staff were nice and friendly

It was awful. Our room's boiler was the same as the kitchen's so no chance of hot water when breakfast was being served. I had to attend r wedding and was extremely late, as a result. We we're offered a new smaller room on the last day (previously we had to go and shower in other rooms after the guests had left). No refund was offered. Shower in the second room was broken, too: the shower-head holder was split in half and the button that regulates water flow simply was not there. It was appalling. In addition, we never managed to have breakfast: either we we're trying to shower or the room was too full and there were no free tables (wcen though we had been asked to book a table in order to avoid this) A very negative experience and I still believe a refund should be offered

Very hard to turn on hot water tap shower. Shower kept falling off wall.

staff very helpful hotel very clean. Access to shops excellent. Lovely big rooms.

The staff were extremely accommodating, especially as we had a very early flight to catch.

The attractive surroundings, nearness to city centre. Friendly & helpfull staff. Attention to detail.

Being charged £2.00 fee for using DEBIT CARD Twice, once on deposit and the other on the balance. (Unknown anywhere else for any transaction), this is a rip off and should be stopped with immediate effect.

nice big room, comfy bed.

outside needs tidyed up a bit, use off two doors not a good idea very dark, most of outside lights not working, very noisey with the traffic would suggest triple glazing, furniture would be nicer if it all matched, soft furnishing could be more luxurious, bathroom radiator didn't work it was cold, decent curtains on the bathroom window as I think people would see in from outside!.

Das Hotel hat ein angenehmes traditionelles Ambiente. Es ist gut zu erreichen. Das Zimmer war sauber. Das Frühstück war o.k..

Desayuno correcto. Nos hicieron el favor de guardarnos las maletas mientras aprovechábamos la última mañana en la ciudad.

Precio excesivo para lo lejos que estaba del centro de Edimburgo y lo poco cuidada la decoración/actualización de las instalaciones.
