Friendly staff. Located just a 10-15 minute slow stroll from the city centre and all the pubs and bars in both the city centre or if heading up to Sauchiehall St. Parking just across the street in a secure well lit multi-storey. Clean room and bathroom. Several tv channels to tune in to if needed. Comfy bar and tidy restaurant. Shower wasn't too powerful and set at a low height - but this was down to the fact we had a room designed for disabled users so not a huge gripe at all. Was still warm and useable. Lift was a bit slow when called. No shower gel in the soap dispenser.

Good location for city centre shopping. Car parking near hotel. Good cooked breakfast in the morning, plenty of choice. Heater in the room was noisy and it was difficult to control the temperature. Room was stuffy.

Close to the city centre We happened to be put next to young lads having a party in their room, they were running up the corridor with very little on. The noise was terrible. We were also subjected to noise from above and this went on until the early hours. In the morning I went to take my husband to work and when I returned to the room to have my breakfast the room had been cleaned ready for the next guest. This was at 10am.

Hotel was Ok for the purpose of our visit if not a little pricey and nowhere near the £29.50 often advertised. Room comfortable enough, however on our 2nd night we were kept awake by a rowing couple having a major domestic 'fight' but didnt complain to reception as we were not sure which room it was coming from. We were in room 610.

The location. The Staff. There was a party on both the Friday & Saturday night that went on until midnight. We were not informed of this prior to the visit and we were right above the disco which was very noisy. We were also not informed until returning on Saturday evening that the restaurant would only be open to guests until 7.30 instead of the usual opening hours. Fortunately we were able to grab a quick meal as had not envisaged having to go out again in the rain to get some food. However, had we arrived back any later we would have missed the deadline.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, comfortable rooms with generally good facilities. The room heater was loud, and blew cold air all night.....did not sleep well the first night. However, it was replaced with another heater the second night which worked fine.

I received a phone call on the morning of my booking from one of the staff to confirm my requirements regarding double and twin rooms. Ours was a group booking with us all arriving at different times however we were all checked in with no problems. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. We had the full breakfast which was very good.

Location, friendly staff. Advice on parking would be useful, I had family coming to Meet up with me and it was not obvious that parking was available. At Reception the question was not asked if I came by car. The heating is not up to par . The system is too noisy and ineffective, clearly a view by the previous occupants, as an extra heater was in he room. This was the main source of heating, the bathroom was spotless but like an ice box, not a pleasant experience, residual heating in the room did little to help. An extra blanket would have been useful. Would use again but only in summer I dread what it's like in the weather had been really cold.

Staff were very oblidging at reception and especially in the dining room. It would be nice to have biscuits in room to have with the tea or coffee. Didn't like finding a glass under my bed when looking for my lost earring!

The standard is good, the staff very helpful, particularly the Bar staff on our last visit. The location for the SECC is superb and for a budget Hotel you are good value. I would suggest though that you get a loyalty scheme going for people like me as I use hotels probably 20-30 times a year both for business and pleasure and at the moment I use a mix of different ones.
