Etrop Grange  

I choose this hotel because of its location to m/cr airport because I had been disapointed by other hotels near the airport. We stay nearby because my husband has to check in at 4.45am and we live a distance from the airport. I would recommand Etrop Grange to anyone who asked for somewere to stay even if not going to the airport Thanks to the staff who are helpful and friendly. 5 stars

We arrived at the airport too late for a train home and stayed at Etrop grange. Even at that late hour the receptionist was outside to meet us and pay the taxi -- a service which we hadn't realised would be included. We were also grateful for the shuttle back to the station the foloowing morning, especially the nice cheery driver. The room was quiet, in spite of planes taking off during the night and the bed very comfortable.

The breakfast was so expensive that we decided to wait until later! My email asking for information about how to get to the hotel was not answered until after we had left on holiday, but this was probably done centrally, not via the hotel.

Staff were very friendly and helpful.

I was under the impression I had booked a room with parking included and was very annoyed to discover I had to pay an additional £60 for the parking for the cars.

The food was awful in the restaurant, however they did accomdate us well with a 16mnth old baby, making what we asked for. Our food wasnt very good but the fish and chips my husband had he said was delicious.

Bed was good very comfortable and clean only poor observation was that the decoration was rather tired and Bathroom could have been cleaner in parts viz. Brown marks at back of Bath taps gave poor first impression. As we were attending a wedding at 2pm we arrived at 12.10pm inorder to have lunch in the hotel whilst the food was Ok it took rather a while to arrive some 40 mins or so.this put us under pressure to Change into Black tie etc. and then get a Taxi to the Church we arrived at the same time as the Bride! A bit hasselled.The staff were pleasant and helpful in reception and Dining Room.THe parking was very good and is a plus for staying there,as there would be a problem without such a facility

We stayed over night before our flight to New York. Great hotel, great price and great service!

E trop Grange provided us with a small but very comfortable room, an excellent evening meal well served in very pleasant surroundings. The staff were friendly and helpful

No-one in Reception to book us in.

I want to thank the staff for their professionalism and outstanding service. I/we have yet to experience an accommodation with same high standard versus a very reasonable price. A big thank you from me and my family! MrT

Although I prepaid for my evening meal I was not quite prepared for the paupers menu. You should tell poeple about this. I was originally given the ful menu only to have this taken away rather smartly. I saw what other poeple were eating and was extremely disappointed. The aircon in the roon did not work.

Quick and efficient free transfers, very comfortable bed with four good pillows on double bed.

No lift.
