Warm, quiet, very helpful gentleman on front of desk who took us to the airport The coffee was served almost as soon as we entered the breakfast room, so by the time we got our bacon and eggs (dont like scrambled so they were disappointing) it was luke warm! The toast was served at the same time and was cold. For this reason we cancelled the breakfast for our second day as at £10 each it was not value for money. (The breakfast was still charged on our account and I just happened to notice this thank goodness - and the lady on the desk refunded the payment) We used to live in Hale Barns and have our Xmas dinner there - and it seemed more luxurious then |

Staff were friendly; service was quick. was not offered a copy of my bill at checkout; was disappointed that there was not any shampoo available (bath and shower gel is not the same); neither was there a bar of soap in the bathroom though a call to the front desk did result in having one brought to my room very quickly (shampoo was also requested, but it resulted in more bath and shower gel) |

Old English hospitality in a setting that seemed like it was in the country, but was in fact near the airport. Excellent customer service to overcome their one disadvantage, which was that it wasn't within walking distance of Manchester Airport |

The price was very reasonable, and the facilities were much more modern than we thought they might be. As we were only in the hotel for 8 hours to sleep between flights, there isn't much more we can say. The furnishings were very charming The bed was quite hard, so we didn't get a very good night's sleep. |

We have stayed here before, and we will be booking again for Easter next year. There was a poor service for Dinner as one person did not know what the other was doing, this resulted in us having to wait around for 30 minuets |

The staff are absolutely excellent. Always welcoming and effiicient. The William Morris is a good room, but always seems to be too hot or too cold. The airconditioning seems to have no happy medium |

I have stayed at this hotel many times and chose it above all others because of the friendliness of the staff and the comfortable feel of the hotel. Every room I have stayed in has been lovely and individual I absolutely love staying here! There isn't anything I dislike about this hotel, perhaps they could supply a road map to find your room but that's not a criticism! |

The staff were very helpful, efficient and cheerful. It was v close to Manchester airport and easy to find. It is a characterful hotel which makes a perfect beginning if you are jetting off on your holiday. |

The staff were very friendly and as we used it to park our car during a holiday abroad it was faultless. Would definetly use it again. |

I have stayed at the Etrop on several occasions and use it as a park and stay for flying from manchester airport. Its quiet and very comfortable. Its only 5 minutes from all the airport terminals. I would use this hotel for a special occasion. |

The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. I liked the country house decor and feel. Room was attractive but in ensuite the shower was rather old and unappealing - water came out lukewarm and couldn't be regulated. Bath chipped. Car park quite full most of the time but, again, the staff were helpful and offered to park the car. |

The general ambience and relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant and restaurant staff were excellent and the menu very good although the chicken dish was a very small portion, more like a starter. |

Very different from the usual international hotels I stay in. More 'country' than airport. I thoroughly enjoyed my short stay with you. |

I was staying there for one night as I was flying from Manchester airport early the following morning. I was impressed (as before) with the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. It was quite a nice relaxing way to spend the evening before I flew out. |
