“ We had a late call prior to travelling to say that the hotel was waterlogged due to a water burst and the whole first floor was unusable. The Manager was very resourceful and contrite, and booked us all in at the nearby 4-star Chesford Grange, paying the excess charges. I thought he was very considerate in a situation not of his making, and will certainly stay at Honiton Court on my next visit ”

Helpfull and courteous staff, good location, Decent size room and bed which was well lit and clean, Good range of food for breakfast. Only one small criticism, I forgot my tooth brush and there were non available for purchase. I am sure I am not the first to forget a tooth brush and certainly wont be the last.

Good location, staff were friendly and helpful. When issues raised with the room the staff reacted quickly and I was moved promptly!! The new room was lovely and of a much better standard than my original room. The original room was of a poor standard. Windows were misting and in need of repair and although the room was generally clean the carpet was stained which gave an appearance of being shabby. My curtain pole also fell down, however the staff responded quickly and moved me to another room. The new room was lovely, a much nicer room than my original room.

The location was good due to the fact that we were attending a function at the venue The bed was comfortable The rooms were not ready at the 2pm arrival time. There were no staff available in the Bar for refreshments whilst we waited. There were no snacks available. We had to leave the venue to find somewhere else close by who could serve refreshments. The bathroom was not cleansed to a very high standard, with facieses in the toilet bowl from the previous occupants. The rooms did not smell fresh upon getting them after 4pm. The function we were attending service was very poor with about 4 staff for 70 diners. The food way very poor and in most cases inedible and cold, service at the bar was almost non existent and we ended up cancelling the final two courses of the meal. When we complained we were told the general manager was away on holiday and some of the guests refused to pay their bills, along with our function organiser who wanted to speak with the management about the appauling service and food. In the review at Para 3. I put City Trip just so the review would go through because the word not recommended for anything was not there

Good size bed and bedroom. Good access to Warwick and Kenilworth. Reasonable rates Breakfast a bit disappointing - tea warm rather than hot; toaster took an eternity to lightly brown the bread

Room was ok, but nothing to rave about Receptionist was wearing a coat behind reception when booking in. First impression was that corridors & stairways were in need of some general maintainance/redecorating I had to phone down for a remote control for the TV. There were no teaspoons on the coffee/tea making tray. The soap tray on the bath was falling off. Breakfast was a bit greasy.

The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpfull. I was attending for a training event and my husband joined me so we could spend the following day in Warwick. The staff allowed my husband a very early check in so he could relax in the room and couldnt do enough for us during our stay. The staff are the best asset of the hotel The rooms were very hot at night and some of the decor is dated.

Not a lot. The bed was really comfortable. Bathroom fine. Would not recommend to anyone. Breakfast not specified. £6.50 fine. Cooked £13.50 terrible. My husband paid 13.50 for 2 eggs on toast. We would have gone to Mcdonalds if there had been one in Knowle.

Very helpful staff willing to replace faulty bedside lights Excellent food in the evening with a varied and very good value for money menu. Good breakfast. Friendly helpful and attentive waiters. This hotel deserves more visitors Minor details like scuffed paintwork on the stairs. Bedside lights not working when I had arrived and obvious that cleaning staff do not check for such details, leaving it to the guest to report.

The staff are brilliant - especially the couple that run breakfast. The most comfortable bed I have ever slept on in the uk. Good Internet connections Good position geographically for Birmingham and also access to motorways It was freezing cold for the duration of their heating breakdown, but frankly the staff were too nice to complain to and in any case it wasn't their fault. Truth is I have never been so cold on a room ever.

the bedroom was a good size, diner was value for money, & breakfast was excellant, found all staff to be helpfull bathroom let the bedroom down, bath very small and not well stocked, only soap. Unable to shower as someone had removed a part from the tap, the bar area was to cold to sit and enjoy a drink or two, the hotel had a very shabby look about it, could do with a lick of paint inside,
